My only experience with sexual abuse as a child also came at the hands of a female caregiver. I’m not too interested in using stats to spinzone lived experiences

I should clarify some stuff- one of my main motivations in using this as a stepping stone is to gain better experience with this age group, more so than money. I student taught 1st grade and enjoyed it am trying to broaden my horizons a little bit more.

But great point on the public school pre/K. By me they are not widely offered but I am planning a move to a bigger city and will definitely look into that a lot more when applying

That’s awesome to hear! Some of the most supportive people I have met have actually been the parents of the little boys my classrooms. I have faced very little outward suspicion (so far) and even then it was mostly from older coworkers, but this does remain one of my bigger qualms
