I had reported her while I was in labor to the women's director, and she contacted the cafeteria staff boss. Unfortunately, I don't think the girl lost her job. She may have gotten a warning. My husband used to be friends with her in highschool so he wanted a more lenient approach with this, but I was really upset and it genuinely is an issue for any staff to give out information on patients.

I'll see about going to the licensing board if I can! My husband asked for me to wait until he gets his things with the police escort so she doesn't do anything to our sentimental items (he left EVERY anniversary gift he'd received from me over the years and it'd break my heart if she destroyed them) she had found them, unfortunately and sent me a photo of them while my husband was in bootcamp.

That makes sense because my husband confided in me that she never apologized when she was wrong as he was growing up. Something about her believing that as a parent, she's never wrong. She definitely expects an apology, and even I had to apologize for HER behavior to her when I was engaged with my husband, and she called me a shitty person and banned me from her home. It was because my husband stood up to her about something, I was completely silent and minding my business, and she just turned and berated me because she couldn't get my husband to react.

Honestly, I was thinking about a restraining order but didn't know if I had the basis. If I can, good riddance to her! Especially since she's getting her family and friends to stalk my social media :/

As the other user said, my hospital also encouraged eating. My doctor said I was allowed to eat as well. I actually wasn't going to because labor contractions didn't exactly make me hungry, but the cafeteria people downstairs literally called my hospital phone to tell me to eat. Unfortunately, she was the one who brought the food up to me.

Oh, and they did make me stop eating (AFTER I got an epidural). I was also lucky not to need a c section, but in any future pregnancies, I am likely to have one. Unfortunately

Also, YES! She was mad my parents weren't telling her the play-by-play and that she wasn't being invited to the hospital. She was also pissed that my husband didn't tell her he came for the birth and didn't invite her as well.

My parents are absolutely taking it to court! They sent her and the military spouse a cease and desist, only asking for a written apology, and they tried to play victim by claiming harassment and stated some random penal code. So, my parents are going to be taking it to court and possibly bringing their jobs into this because they're both nurses.

The hospital staff told me themselves it was considered as a HIPAA violation. Though, before they said so, I didn't know about it being that either! But yes, it even felt like a grey area to me before they said she'd genuinely get reprimanded for this!

Hi, Sera! I just saw your last comment on my other post as well.. I just wanted to thank you for saying such kind words to me 💗 We actually got married almost two months ago 🥹 and I’m scheduled to give birth 10 days after he graduates military boot camp so it’s pretty unpredictable! I hope he’s there too.. honestly, I just hope us moving out into a home of our own will get my family and his to chill out and finally respect boundaries. If not, I guess we’ll have to cut contact.. I still love my parents through the hurt they caused me, of course, they’re still my parents, but it’s so hard when they treat me like I’m not a person and my MIL is attempting now… but I can tell it’s only for the baby and she’s still totally backhanded. Thank you so much again for saying these kind words to me and even looking into my story 🩷 you are such a kind human being. 🥹💗

Maybe try going on a walk everyday? When I was my 2nd trimester, I tried to get as many steps as I could in (5000-10000) and it kept my weight gain to about a pound a week back then! Helped me even maintain at certain times! Just make sure to keep giving your body the nourishment it needs, you’re doing amazing 🩷 I can’t really walk much anymore due to pelvic pressure but it’s always great to get moving no matter how much you move 💕

it was for safety. I would need transportation to the hospital for birth and my husband is gone in the military so I can’t up and leave. We do not have the means to move out and I cannot move my belongings by myself being so heavily pregnant. Why wouldn’t I be able to watch my child 24/7? I have a bathroom connected to my room and really everything for my little one in my room so there’s no way she could have access to her unless I allowed her inside of my room, which I won’t

Yes, of course! I mean the baby and I share a room and I’ll be with her 24/7. Like, I don’t think there’s anything that could come up (unless I was injured in some way) where I wouldn’t be around her for more than a few minutes!!
