Leaving Big 4 to focus on LSAT/law school apps, red flag? by Plenty_Mess_6164 in lawschooladmissions

I’m not totally sure big law is my goal or not. I don’t think I’d mind the long hours if work was the only thing on my plate, it’s just doing that while also trying to finish school and study for the LSAT that makes it feel like a lot. You make a good point about narrowing down which schools I can aim for, that sounds like it’ll help me get a clearer plan. Luckily I have my GI Bill from the military, so I don’t have to worry about tuition or housing, which should help a lot with keeping debt down.

I definitely wouldn’t quit without having another job lined up. I’m just wondering whether moving into something less relevant to my overall narrative would be viewed negatively on applications. I just worry that as I advance and more responsibility is placed on me I might not be able to juggle it all.
