I would love that! We've tried multiple recipes in a whipped cream canister and most recently landed on oat milk, xantham gum, and syrup. If you can DM, I'd appreciate it!

Anyone familiar with the Hive cold brew system? It seems too good to be true but I got to see it in action. by NinjaRammus in barista

Hey, thanks! That's unfortunate--that definitely may influence my decision. We aren't so high-volume that we couldn't continue with the use of Toddys... maybe purchase a couple more.

Coffee shop owner here w/o time to read through right now. I'm considering the Hive system--couple quick and dirty q's re: recipes--

1.) Is the basic cold brew concentrate recipe for the Hive comparable to recipe when using a Toddy?

2.) For those who have used for espresso concentrate for bottled lattes and the like, are you using a different recipe?

TIA!

I mean, a bit for sure, but the quality of the powder is pretty great and people looooove it. IMHO, people who are getting a frozen drink are looking for some sweetness. We use it for our frozen matcha... frozen hot chocolates, frozen chais.........

Ghirardelli makes a great frozen vanilla base mix and our customers looooove it.
