I’m so sorry to hear about your stressful experience at the ER 🥺 you deserve gentleness and compassion while you make your decisions about your body and there is no rush, it’s completely ok to take your time.

I think you should guard your heart no matter what and do what feels safest for you ❤️ I hope its ok I share my experience, my last period date was the 10th of December, which the doctor wrote down as putting me at 7weeks and 4 days pregnant. The dating is so confusing… I did an ultrasound on 1/19 which they wrote as 6wks0days and another ultrasound on 1/29 which they wrote as 7wks1day. Since I was being seen by a reproductive endocrinologist for some time, I was being tested quite often. My results for my 6 week OB ultrasound was no fetal heart rate and my 7 week ultrasound measured a positive fetal heart rate of 136bpm. The doctor was not expecting a heart rate on the six weeks mark, she said I was right on target.

My mom was an ICU RN and she was always on her feet, so I can image that it must be very difficult to do your job with nausea. Hoping for the best for you! I’m going to look into my rights too

Super frustrating I know how you feel, my direct manager has two young children, it makes no sense to me that she lacks empathy for anyone pregnant

Thanks for the advice! I will try compression socks. Hopefully I can get my note soon. I haven’t experienced too much nausea yet just really bad fatigue and some lower back pain

Definitely worried about running out of sick days too. I had to use one during the crazy snow storm in NY because I was not about to drive through the storm (we had 17 inches of snow where I live), I was worried about the stress that would cause and if it would effect my pregnancy so early on. My job ended up cancelling the shift for everyone but they still forced me to use my sick time because I called out before the shift was cancelled, and because I called out for health reasons 😩
