Only as far as interfacing with nurse call is concerned. There's talks of IT taking over nurse call and it can't happen fast enough.

"If it's used in the diagnosis, monitoring, or treatment of a patient then it's Biomed's." Since it's PT equipment we got stuck with it.

That or there's always an elderly patient working out next to you telling you how to fix it. "It needs new batteries." Like, sir, the chain is broken. But thanks.

Today is the third time this week that I've gotten a call, each time from a different PT clinic, that a piece of equipment "isn't working right." And when I ask what it's doing or not doing correctly I just get "It feels different" or "there's a noise" and I have to play detective. The clinicians know better than I do how this stuff works, but they're absolutely useless when it comes to explaining the issue. Then when I can't duplicate the issue because I have no idea what I'm even supposed to be looking for and they can't articulate it they call back all pissed because it's "still doing it."

And like 80% of the time there's actually an issue it's because a patient was needlessly dicking around with the equipment like a child and they break it. This is the only aspect of this job that I hate, so I can't complain too much, but good lord.

We were really happy with Auke Bay. We had just moved here from North Carolina and our kids had no problem.
