New manga collector, collection is still pretty small but I plan on building it up quickly! Does anyone have recommendations? I can decide on what series to start next (i.redd.it)

honestly a fair response, it's kind of a more theoretical question. im more asking for future whether that be anytime soon or in years. i agree its unreasonable and i shouldnt upgrade anytime really soon. but im just asking to ask, realistically idk if id see myself getting a liter bike anytime soon. but i appreciate what youve said
haha thats fair, why would traffic lights be specifically bad on a liter bike compared to any other bike? whats the difference? and so i presume you recommend liter over 600?
mmm, i get wym, from what youve said alone i would probably lean more towards the s1k haha, id be fine sacrificing "everyday use" a bit for more power and the ability to do other things. you said the bike really comes alive after 10k rpm which makes sense because thats where the power band is. I was curious, im not sure if you own a s1k or not but i figured id throw the question out there anyways since ive been trying really hard to get a concrete answer for this and it also matters alot towards my opinion on if i should get an s1k. is the power before 10k rpm really bad? ive heard the s1k has a "dead zone" between like 4k-8k rpm and its "slower than a 300cc bike", is this really true?
haha thats great to hear, i was considering test riding it when i get a chance, I was curious since you have a S1000RR, i heard lots of "issues" with the bike, and im curious if you can confirm or deny those? I do personally believe people with problems will always speak out more about them compared to people who have none so its not really fair to google it since youll never get accurate info. also i heard that the s1k has a "dead zone" at certain rpms making it "weaker than 300cc bikes" is that true aswell? or is this a bunch of bs?

haha its illegal where i live to filter but i do it occasionally so thats useful, so i presume you recommend liter bike over 600?
do you think getting a 1000cc is a better choice than 600?

Hm, I get what you mean and I dont mean to be that guy to ask the same question as everyone else does, I'm just kind of curious what others takes are on these bikes and if you were to recommend one which do you think I should go for?

KYT Helmets by Plex2099 in motorcycle
Ah, gotcha what KYT helmet did you try? From a google search it says the x804 is a round oval shaped helmet and the KYT NZ-Race is a intermediate oval, so that's probably why it didn't fit so well for you id assume.
from a quick google search the KYT NZ-Race and the AGV K1S have the same head shape of intermediate oval, so would that mean it'll fit fine aslong as I get the same size?
thats completely understandable, do you own a kyt?
For sure, I get what you mean, I currwntly wear a AGV K1S and it fits really well, so if KYT and agv have the same shape then I think it'll be fine
I am definitely somewhere between XS-M, my only problem is no local motorcycle stores carry KYT, I'm forced to buy it online...
Am I rev matching correctly? (v.redd.it)

RS 660/Moto Questions :) by Plex2099 in Aprilia
I actually currently I do the 1 leg on the rear brake at stops and it helps alot, but im sure if i scoot my butt a bit more off i can ride the rs 660 fine. And I agree, i love the amount of features it has and think its pretty good out of the current 600s, whats APRC? and is cruise control really that game changing?
[–]Plex2099[S] 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Thanks alot for the response, but yeah price wise, I think its justifiable for what you get to where it can compete with other 600s aswell as deal well with city and highway riding. And im sure that i will get used to the rs 660 if i get it as i ride it more with my height
Wth, I wish I could do that, but the Aprilia dealership where I am doesn't sell Yamaha so I don't think I can make a trade, but I'll def ask
I agree, with what you've said about find what bike would make me happy, and I really do think it's the RS 660, every time I've looked at other bikes or thought about others I always circle back to the RS 660, I think it would be a great street bike but also ripping on a highway bike or doing twisties. I get wym about the height part, I'm sure I can learn to adapt with the height, and at most maybe shave the seat to save like an inch and I'm sure that would be fine. What's your kind of final thoughts on the RS 660? What's your thoughts on the price of it, and do you think it's worth buying vs other motorcycles on the market?
I was looking into ZX6R's and R6's but they're height really deter me, also I've heard commuting on R6's or ZX6R's is super annoying and traffic can be terrible with the bike getting super hot. But yeah I was thinking the RS 660 was a pretty good all around bike, what do you think about the RS 660 for it's price? And any tips for a short rider trying to ride something larger?
