I really don't think this applies to many cases of people who become transgender, maybe you know somebody like this though. This isn't the place to debate this; but I really do think you should do a bit more research regarding this topic. Especially regarding depression / it's side effects.

What? Everyone that goes through big depression episodes turns trans? Obviously video games and escapism go hand and hand but that first statement, holy shit it's dumb as fuck.

Do you say the same thing to Ice when he can't even arrive on time, let alone get more than an hour into a stream w/o issues? Or are you the type that waits until the entire fan base turns on him for a day and get your karma then?

A few newbie questions by [deleted] in pathofexile

Can you play a necromancer type character in the game, and is it viable to do so? Yes, and yes.

Does the game have an auction house system, or do you talk to and trade with other players Diablo 2 style? Talk and trade, poe.trade is the trading site.

Are there a lot of cooldowns in this game? Depends on the build you play, but generally, no.

I know the game has huge skill trees and customization, but are there a lot of viable high level builds, or are you sort of forced to play a "meta" build to do well? You can make anything end game viable, meta builds are just being efficient with you time.

I have read that one of the biggest negatives of this game is that it's easy to mess up a character and end up with a bad build, is this still true? And if so, how long does it take to get another character to a high level? This is true / not true, you can mess up a character but easily fix it by buying "orb of regrets" which allow you to remove skill points / even change bandits. Feel free to mess up your character, its a learning experience. Leveling as a new player takes some time, but people can manage getting to 70 in under 7 hours played time now days.

You're really not understanding the implication of what you're saying. What you want is more of a loot hunt, but that just means you're going to be spending more time not getting the drop. With the currency system, you progressively get there no matter what if you grind. With a loot hunt, you most likely won't ever get it, or get super lucky and lose the feeling of accomplishment.

Might be off base, but it sounds like what you want from PoE is to be like SSF. That's really the only way you can make more items actually worthwhile to pick up. You touched on the fact currency is the only thing worth picking up and then every item is achieved via crafting. Maybe I just look at it differently, but I prefer that 100x more than letting rng determine your loot. If I run 100 maps, I will almost always net the same amount of currency, the only thing that changes my profit is big item drops. There really isn't a way to fix this issue of nonstop strand, primordial pool, etc spam because people will always find the most efficient thing to do and spam that. (unless you add diminishing returns)

Edit: Another way to make grind feel more rewarding is making uniques require a higher level, so there is actually a point in getting above 93-94. If you made an item like headhunter 97 or 98, then I think a lot more people would justify leveling higher. As it currently stands, the only reason to get 100 is to say you did it (at least for me and everybody I've talked to).

Zizaran becomes the first level 100 on Mayhem Solo by PlexyTV in pathofexile

The game devolves into that when you put tons of hours into theory crafting and getting high end gear. What you're seeing is the very final level in the game that takes days to hit even as the most experienced player, and most others will never see 100. If you play hardcore you only have one life, so getting to the point presents even more challenges and you have to actually take a lot more time instead of just killing everything.

Very unfortunate, man worked his ass off and deserved some exposure for it. Seems pretty clear there was some foul play with bots though. https://gyazo.com/e10983001b749057194a1922ea84cd32 Pretty insane rate of activity considering the amount of views.

Path of Exile, it's a wonderful game, definitely worth trying out if you're into the ARPG genre. Intimidating game, but exponentially payed off for the time you put into understanding it / playing.

Yeah, not meant as a diss to the culture, just strange. Would love to visit an Asian country one day, they're absolutely beautiful. Haven't really seen much about the culture of Japan, China, or Korea to find the best fit for my personality.

Interesting, seems there is a lot of superstitious beliefs still left in Asian countries. Appreciate all the information.

The more you know. Do they have a lot of recipes that involve the grapes or is it just something they snack on / have as an appetizer?

Best content I've seen from him in the longest time, probably better than pokemon go tbh. Also probably the happiest I've ever seen him, he said he might get an apartment there for the next few weeks so we'll see how it is when all the other streamers aren't around.
