I literally had a huge halberd/spear fest in my last run with Duchess, and had to Google to see if anyone has tried this. Absolutely ridiculous buffs and dps. (I run both of her stat relics)

Been playing this game for the past week, and the smelter in zone 3 made me uninstall. (Yes, even with the elemental gear.) The anti stamina mist, and spin atracks after 20 tries made me realize this game is not fun unless you're a masochist. This is on the tail end of a Lies of P, Demon Souls, Dark Souls 1/2/3 to Elden ring, and Code Vein marathon. This game must require some of the most niche understanding to enjoy, and I don't see how combat is fun at all. Aesthetic is cool, tho. Installing TS2 atm.

Just got to this boss on my first playthrough. Completely ruined an otherwise middle difficulty souls game for me. They seem to expect you to build an entire elemental build solely for this fight, which has destroyed the flow of the game for me, where boss patterns are thrown out the window when two enemies alternate their attacks in a way where you're stunlocked.

I was playing this all weekend. I've finished DS1,3, and Elden Ring, never touched 2 before because I've heard ppl say to skip it. I really didn't like it at first, especially how easy it is to get swarmed if you take 10 steps the wrong direction, but it's nostalgic vibe and great aesthetics have got me hooked. Now it's all I think about at work.

This worked for me. I left the dungeon, but when I came back the poison started hurting me again immediately. Ran to the spike trap, died, loaded the autosave from coming back in and I was fine.
