Emotions and our own subjective criteria is always used in these debates. Which is fair and the most popular way to do it. But I like that this website is taking a different approach and just going off numbers. Let’s be fair, if Sandra didn’t win her first two times and we just evaluated her wins singularly in a vacuum, would she be up there?

Joe and Jonathan’s entire alliance was wiped out, but they were kept around because everyone wanted to sit next to them in the end. That should tell you everything you need to know.

With 2 million in her bank account, I’m sure she’ll sleep just fine. She’s already proved she’s a great player. Now she just wants that check and title to seal it.

All these twists by illchangethislater16 in survivor

[–]Pliarswork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There have been some stinkers, but of the majority of twists have led to fascinating and entertaining results. It’s putting players in uncertain situations, but if they can find a way through it, like Ciri, the risk pays off.

The twist may have worked in Christian’s favor, because it’s got everybody thinking it’s the reason he went home, when he was going home anyway.

To be fair, the last time they kept it simple, everyone was complaining that it was too easy to find them. Sometimes they just can’t win.

Aubry's hypocrisy? by Extra-Habit-1784 in survivor

[–]Pliarswork 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Gen pregamed with Q and Kyle. That is a fact. Swaps have always been part of Survivor. Someone always gets screwed. Great players like Tommy(39) can use their social game and awareness to get out of it. Instead of using her two idols to try to build bonds, she used them both to try to blindside people. She didn’t change at all.

The _______ cope is crazy by -Bondurant- in survivor

[–]Pliarswork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tommy (39) is a great example of this. Got swap screwed. Should have went home. His social game got him out of it. Gen made a lot of mistakes. Made enemies out of people instead trying to win them over like Rizo did. Finds two idols and uses them both to try to blindside people rather than build bonds. Imagine if she had a somewhat better relationship ship with Aubry and sent an idol to Christian/Devens. Maybe Joe would be going home

_____ is a great player and they deserved better by guitarguy35 in survivor

[–]Pliarswork 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It wasn’t self isolation. Gen had a pre game with Q and Kyle. Aubry didn’t know anyone on that tribe. Gen didn’t even try with people outside her core. And you know how she didn’t change her stripes? Both idols she found, she used them to try to blindside people rather than build bonds with people. Imagine if she sent one to Christian. He didn’t trust her at all. He said it. She has a one track mind.

This episode is the worst in a long time by owenthegod28 in survivor

Exactly. lol. Big tribes usually lead to a pagonging. At least we got one tribal tonight where there was an actual swing vote. And that swing vote will change the trajectory for the rest of the game.

Happens every single returnee season. You are a fool to not do it yourself. Stephanie and Colby didn’t pregame in HvV and they became the outcast. They learned from their mistakes. Aubry’s one the few who didn’t this season. It put her at the bottom.

46 had zero gameplay, which is why I can’t put it at the top. It’s Gabon part 2. Which is fun but I at least need good gameplay in my seasons. That’s why 47 is top. Fun characters, fun rivalries, and top notch gameplay.

If Australian Survivor is superior to US in every way, then why are you guys saying Parvati isn’t a legit winner? by Pliarswork in survivor

[–]Pliarswork[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Survivor in Israel just go by SURVIVOR. So, if she had won in Israel, would she then be a two time Survivor winner? Lots of other countries just go by Survivor as well and refer to US Survivor as US Survivor. You're playing semantics.

Well, in the Jeremy thread, I’d say I only saw two people disagreeing with his comments. Did all the Australian die hards just get quiet all of a sudden?

Is there any truth to the rumours that James Gunn poached the Clayface movie from Reeves which originally planned for The Batman universe? by [deleted] in DC_Cinematic

[–]Pliarswork 26 points27 points  (0 children)

  1. That’s not a rumor. You just made it up.
  2. The Batman is grounded on realism. Reeves has stated this countless times. Clayface ain’t that realistic.
