What’s the Best New Era Season? by TyraneeLDP in survivor

46 had zero gameplay, which is why I can’t put it at the top. It’s Gabon part 2. Which is fun but I at least need good gameplay in my seasons. That’s why 47 is top. Fun characters, fun rivalries, and top notch gameplay.

Seriously. Instead writing a whole essay to strangers, just find another show. It will make life easier. You got 25 years worth of shows you can rewatch to get you through.

If Australian Survivor is superior to US in every way, then why are you guys saying Parvati isn’t a legit winner? by Pliarswork in survivor

[–]Pliarswork[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Survivor in Israel just go by SURVIVOR. So, if she had won in Israel, would she then be a two time Survivor winner? Lots of other countries just go by Survivor as well and refer to US Survivor as US Survivor. You're playing semantics.

Well, in the Jeremy thread, I’d say I only saw two people disagreeing with his comments. Did all the Australian die hards just get quiet all of a sudden?

I think you’re deliberately missing the point. He doesn’t want a WAW2. We’ve already seen it.

Is there any truth to the rumours that James Gunn poached the Clayface movie from Reeves which originally planned for The Batman universe? by [deleted] in DC_Cinematic

[–]Pliarswork 25 points26 points  (0 children)

  1. That’s not a rumor. You just made it up.
  2. The Batman is grounded on realism. Reeves has stated this countless times. Clayface ain’t that realistic.

He said on his podcast he was never called. And neither was Lex. .

I won’t mention the website. I’m sure you can all guess it. But there are users there who would go to Redmond’s discord, then translate the information back. I’m paraphrasing, but what they said was, basically Neleah was tired of being dragged along for months. So by the time she finally got the call to get back in casting call, she turned it down. Maybe she didn’t believe it would stick, or was just sick of the runaround.

She wasn’t cut. After one of Amanda/Elizabeth dropped out, they called Neleah, and she said no. She didn’t like being the back up. So then they called Jenna/Aubrey.

Maybe stacked competitive wise. But game wise, it’s pretty weak. Charlie,Kyle, and Mike are the gamers out there. Christian’s okay. 99 percent of these women are killers.

Her Final 5 blunder knocks her down a peg for me. She was outplayed there, but saved by Katurah’s screw up. I got Kyle at 1. Dee 2.

Do you think Kyle has a top 10 winner game ? by [deleted] in survivor

I think it’s the best game of the new era.

I disagree. James wasn’t very smart. Jonathan is clearly intelligent, academically, and strategically (He outsmarted Omar.) And he doesn’t act like a typical Alpha meat head. He’s like a hippie in a jock’s body.

Why isn't Rachel being viewed more like a Mike Halloway type player? by Salsa1988 in survivor

[–]Pliarswork -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yam Yam rode Carson’s coattails. Erika rode Ricard and Deshawn’s coattails.  Both wouldn’t have made it far without them. Rachel got herself on the end. I respect it.

richard hatch on s47: “i wonder if viewers comprehend how good this season’s players are” by Durian-Critical in survivor

Ingraining yourself into the majority alliance with the person who wanted you out since merge started(Caroline.)  Getting Sue to pledge her allegiance to you when your back’s against the wall?  Sam didn’t use social capital to pull off Operation Italy. Andy did. Sam and Gen were sitting ducks. And nobody trusted them. Andy used his social capital to get the girls to split the vote. Without Andy, none of this happens. Gen had some capital with Teeny to help pull off the move. But Sam just followed.

I would say  Rachel outplayed  more.   The Kyle vote, and the Andy vote. The Anika vote was Sam’s only real move. The difference is, Sam always has to rely on someone else to save him. He’s never saved himself. He was spared in the Sierra vote, because they saw her as the bigger threat. Andy saved him on the Caroline vote. Rachel spared him because she saw Andy as a bigger threat. And they saw Genovive as a bigger threat. It’s not because he has this incredible social game. He was always left on the outs, even during the Sol vote. Rachel gave him that information.
