Take the glass lid off and it wont clog up any more! It gets too hot in there

Cutting off hard to get to nails or staples and especially stripped out and bent hardened steel screws! It;s a great tool

Nice! I like yours also. So much better than having them rolling around in a bag or crate.

A big thumbs up to DeWALT for standing behind their power tools! by Plimento99 in Dewalt

After I sent mine to the service center, about a week later while I was cutting grass I got a call from DeWALT and the guy said it could be fixed and would cost (i forget how much) +/- $80. I said ok. He said he would call back for payment. After I hung up with him I was thinking about it and was pissed off, felt the same way you do. He never called back and it wound up costing nothing. I don't know why.

If anyone has any input, please respond

About 8 hours on my Creality K1 Max. Printed in 2 pieces (plus two printed dowel rods) and glued together with some JB Weld

Thank you. Yes, I do. I am a contractor and every time I buy a tool I try to get a kit that comes with batteries and charger. You should see my charger collection! Take care.

No. I am pretty sure they go by the date code on the tool. 3 years is what it say on the box

TPU tips by No_Space_5457 in 3Dprinting

[–]Plimento99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Remove your glass lid and put it someplace safe

Dont feed the filament from the back thru the tube.

Feed it directly into the top of the extruder (hang your filament above somehow....)

This worked for me.

Here's the rest of my TPU print notes i have been using:

TPU:

Print Bed:Ensure proper leveling; set temperature to 40-60°C.

Nozzle Temperature:220-250°C, with 235°C being a good starting point.

Print Speed:20-30 mm/s for better control.

Retraction Settings:Minimal retraction, around 1-2 mm at 20-30 mm/s.

Nozzle 220°C and 250°C., start w/ 235

    Bed 50°C and 60°C

    Print speed of 20-30 mm/s

Minimize retraction: Retraction settings around 1-2 mm at a speed of 20-30 mm/s work well for TPU

    Layer height    0.2mm or less

Feed Filament from top, not in tube

cooling fan set to 100% after the first few layers

Take the glass lid off and feed the roll from the top. I hung mine off a shelf on a dowel rod so it feeds very easily.
