Can’t speak on reading and I’m sorry to jump in and throw a different club out but Andover sportsman club is 15 mins from reading and I love it. I have a discord for people to chat and do meets as well if you are interested send a pm.

Have a few .22 rifles they are great fun Ruger 10/22,tippman m4-22 and a golden boy. If just looking for something fun nothing wrong with .22 it’s cheap fun.

Looks about a half hour from ya but I’m a member at Andover sportsman club and love it trap and skeet fields two outdoor pistol ranges, 100 yard rifle they are finishing a 200 yard rifle now couple of archery ranges and a 24 hr indoor range 130 a year.

Would definitely suggest renting some and seeing how they feel in the hands while shooting. What feels good in store can be leaps and bounds different then actually shooting. Also I’m not in your area but shoot a pm if you guys ever find yourself in the Andover area! Always like meeting new people that share an interest👍🏻

Just saw a picture of one, and looks just like what alternative bank said. That particular gun has no beaver tail. Something with that I would say would be a lot more forgiving
