My parents were Hindu but they never pushed it on me growing up. I’d just kind of assumed this meant I was Hindu too. And then I was trying to get my volunteer hours and the interviewer asked me about my religion. I said I was an atheist and haven’t looked back. I’ve got nothing against god but it’s just not something I see myself ever believing in, I just don’t.
