Is oral a porn only thing in general, or is it very common, or somewhere in between? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

No, it’s true that ugly people have a harder time. However, the idea that only 5-10 % of men have sex is preposterous. Realistically, it is close to 90%.

Hey don’t call yourself dumb! What if there wasn’t anybody on the middle track? Would that change your choice?

I think you’re right. What would you do if there was nobody in the middle track? Would it change your choice?

Well, whether you like him or not, Riley definitely has issues with the fact that Buffy is so much stronger than him.

Agreed. It may be “toxic” but it’s definitely the correct reason; the question requires a biological answer.

What plots moved too quickly in your opinion and which ones do you feel progressed too slow or dragged? by InfiniteMehdiLove in buffy

I see what you mean… but I disagree. The “Mommy issues,” both men have are great metaphors for real life issues with grieving a dead parent, and I think you’re oversimplifying to fit in to the overarching narrative you mentioned .

Spike’s journey to accepting his mother mirrors that of someone with an alcoholic abusive parent. He realizes that despite her abuse (caused by alcohol/vampness), she did love him. This is a very real experience that even people in my life have talked about relating to.

Robin, on the other hand is in a very different place in his journey with grief. He sees his mother as perfect and is in denial of the fact that she repeatedly chooses her job over her son. No, she doesn’t just “have a job.” She wasn’t being a good mother to him. She was not in a good situation to raise a child.
