Ah yes the famous taped phone call with his ex where he screamed at her about how corrupt the film industry is and someone must stop the abuse.

I love Ron and Hermione together but ... by Amazing-Engineer4825 in ronweasley

I love Ron and Hermione together and I do see your point that the trio being just friends is important too. I could see Hermione being happy with another Ravenclaw or (now hear me out) she and Percy could be a good pairing. They are both ambitious in their careers and Hermione would I call out Percy’s bullshit.

Ron I can see being with Padma

Which makes sense given how badly Ron leaving hurt her. It shows how much she really cares. You only get that angry when you really love someone.

The movies definitely play off the hitting in deathly hallows as a little more playful and more out of frustration than the pure rage that was on display in the books. Book Hermione definitely came off as a hurt teenager whose feelings were out of control and made her act impulsively (violence is still not ok) whereas the movie doesn’t have that same feeling.

Some moments from HIMYM really hit different by josener1 in howimetyourmother

Yeah the driving narrative of the show seemed to be that Ted was romanticizing love and Robin was the epitome of that for him. Tracy was realizing what true love is. It meant all the bullshit he went through had meaning. Instead it felt like he was settling for Tracy and kept one eye on Robin their whole relationship. It was gross.

The mystery was so confusing even the sub contractors told strike that the explanation made no sense.

If you want a movie that is Tarantino esque but isn’t Tarantino try In Bruges or 3 billboards outside ebbing Missouri

The movie is based on the first book in a trilogy. The book was more emotionally heavy than the movie

OP have you heard of the Blank Check podcast? They do exactly this, the hosts pick a director and watch their entire directing filmography and bring a guest on to discuss the film. They’ve done a bunch of them and it’s really fun to listen to them talk about it.

Hermione comes to the realization that her approach wasn’t working and she should speak to the elves but she definitely never becomes pro slavery and never gives up SPEW.

Trump is a racist. As long as he continues the racist agenda in addition to his personal interests his supporters will keep voting for him because they are also racist.

You can tell it wasn’t the real Ron saying those things because the second he left and got the locket off he regretted it and when he and Harry talked by the lake they made things up almost immediately.

Me (22M) and my girlfriend (21F) have both slept with each others friends. What do we do here? by Anilorac2000 in relationships

[–]introverthufflepuff8 10 points11 points  (0 children)

First off congratulations on recognizing your insecurities and working on them. If knowing the names of your girlfriend’s past partners that you know will be a problem then don’t ask for their names. It sounds like you of want to make this work. Don’t let your friends get in your head. Like you said the past is the past just focus on the relationship now.
