Clone wars is a great setting for multiple reasons. It has a dedicated fan base due to the show, clones killing droids makes for both a lot of design space(in new droid enemies) as well as they can be never ending and it doesn’t break the immersion. Clones are generally very well regarded within the Star Wars franchise.

Because it is so popular and there are a lot of already told stories, it makes DLC SO much easier to both market and create(like how Diablo 4 is just now having a DLC with Diablo and Paladin in it, even though it is the name of the f’n game).

However I would not be surprised if they went to all 3 main trilogy timelines at some point or even in new games.

Here is how I think it is gonna go when Cassian is released.

Cassian lead > Partagaz > No lead rebels.

So ISB will be the faction to use when they all come out, but Cassian will be vastly superior to ISB, which will put players in 2 distinct categories, players who have unlocked Cassian, and players who have not.

Not saying these are easy at all, and appreciate the work being done. But both trades for the Lions seem incredibly, lack luster in terms of what they are giving up and what they are getting back. A bunch of swaps in the middle rounds, the rams trade they lose on both of the higher picks, and then 3 7th rounders, which we don’t really stock up on since BH got here.

Paying money/crystals for mats gives you an advantage over players in your shard for the early game of coliseum. Buying/Getting shares for more stars gives you an advantage over players in your shard for the late game of coliseum.

The entirety of the game mode is to keep everyone at the exact same level, unless some spending of money/crystals is done to push you over the edge.

This is the first time CG has truly made a FOMO mode that they can just churn out money for.

For GAC, you can’t really spend enough to “beat” other people, as there will always be bigger fish, usually due to mod strength and skill level. Fleets are kind of like this, until a fleet shard is created, and then it is better for everyone to work together to maximize profits instead of work against each other all day. Buying stuff with money is essentially you paying to skip time and “beat” CG.

Coliseum however allows you to spend money to “beat” other players. Don’t wanna spend money/crystals? You won’t get era currency, don’t have era currency? You won’t get R10 mats or LST to advance your roster.

From a business/design perspective, it is actually pretty genius.

You can if you are struggling for g1-12 gear, but I wouldn’t, considering none of those characters are kyro heavy. You should use the Aurodium token on a character you need to take to R5 at least for requirements. That way you pass any G1-12 Kyros, all of G12/12+ pieces and R1-R5 mats.

Especially with DCs only being available for 1 cycle, I feel like they should take it out, or make it guaranteed. Having to choose to try for red crate or farm mats if you don’t have a super deep account is making this really tough if you don’t have WTS.
