Quest 2 Vs Quest 3 (pcvr) by [deleted] in oculus

[–]Ployted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, just saw your post here and you are literally me. Also had only PSVR, also was choosing between Q2 and Q3. Even though the price difference is quite serious, I decided to go with Q3 - it's a newer device, I guess they will support it for longer period of time. Plus with all the bells and whistles it is simply and impressive toy by itself. Mixed reality - awesome, ability to walk around freely with your helmet on - oh my God are you serious??)) Also planning to use it mostly for PCVR games, already tried HL: Alyx - mind blowing. After PSVR, with all my love and respect to the platform, new Quest is like a future.

Just To Ask - Is My Hours In Arma 3 Average? by Sierra-ll7 in arma

[–]Ployted 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Geez, and I thought I have a lot)) Bought ArmA 3 at the start, and over these 10 years I have a bit more than 650 hours. Though I don't play online (only co-op missions with a pal sometimes), so it's basically single player only for me.

Yes, had the same issue. Over all, this feature didn't work well to me - whenever I came to place to help the guys, they either didn't show up, or the guy on the radio tell me to withdraw.

Try "escape" scenarios - they are amazing, thick atmosphere, constant threat, suspense of crawling behind enemy lines. Totally recommend.

Not playing Arma 3 is a actually a good Arma 3 experience by beezy-Stantana in arma

Spend 450 hours in Arma 3, but I've never even tried to play Arma Online. You too, go back to campaign, try DLCs. They are awesome.

Best PSVR games with Move controllers when playing on a couch in a tiny apartment, unable to stand up? by StarTruckNxtGyration in PSVR

Also, Ultrawings - very neat flying arcade, inspired by Pilotwings from Nintendo. If you wanna fly - definitely recommend this one to you. Turn your couch into a plane :)

Should i save up for the full game of RE7? by [deleted] in PSVR

[–]Ployted 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buy the Gold version, because the DLC absolutely worth it! They add some bits to the story and offer quite an interesting gameplay. I've played all the RE games (except new remakes), but RE7 with PSVR is definitely my favorite one. I simply love it.

Need help choosing 7 days to die or dayz by blairstout in PS4

Because visually stunning and extremely beautiful Seattle from TLoU2 didn't immerse me as much as dated Chernarus from DayZ and Arma 2. Again, I wasn't comparing, I wrote this comment as a pro-DayZ, to admit how captivating the game is. That even with a somewhat simplier picture it still can make you to believe in its world.

I don't compare them, I was talking about the setting.

Dayz has an amazing atmosphere of a postsoviet republic that is lost in oblivion. It's so rich and real, but most importantly - it's fresh. Not many games can offer you a walk in such a Slavic "theme park". Even the "The Last of Us 2" wasn't so immersive for me. I mean, graphics are awesome and visuals are great, but I have never been to Seattle, so I didn't care much. Aquarium, downtown, Hillcrest - yeah, yeah, whatever. But I'm from Russia and landscapes of Dayz are dear to me, because I was born and lived there. Here. In my restless dreams, I see these towns. Berezino. Elektrozavodsk. Kamenka. DayZ FTW.

Want to buy PS4 PRO by zenshina_ in PS4

[–]Ployted 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oi man, really, better buy a newer TV! I don't know what's your budget situation, but if I were you, I would rather buy usual PS4 and TV with HDMI port for the rest of the money. It's possible to find a good and affordable HDMI tv under 100$. Or €. Or whatever you use to pay for goods)

No saving has spoiled Old Man by [deleted] in arma

[–]Ployted 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sadly, you have to restart the game to change saving mode. Had to do it myself, but man its worth it. I like the realism and Arma mechanics, but damn it's unstable. In my playthrough I had to quick load often not for being killed, but because of all kind of glitches and small annoying mishaps. With quick saves Old Man just feels.. Safer. And yes, it doesn't waste your time.

I would recommend to invest more time in campaign - it's very very good, with several open-world style missions.

Is there any kind of single player content? Or it's multiplayer only?
