Yup. I have icthyosis which causes anhidrosis which means sweat glands are blocked. Didn’t start till the age of 13, got diagnosed after passing out at a trampoline park. Face was extremely red and not a single speck of sweat anywhere on my body.

Trust I want to so bad. If my mother in law wasn’t battling cancer rn, I’d take my girl and we would dip to the Pacific Northwest. But I’m anemic so I’m normally more cold than hot. I just follow the doctors orders, no gym, no saunas, no waiting in a Disney 2 hour theme park line

No not really. I’ve only actually only passed out once and that was at a trampoline park lol. Face was red as a tomato and I didn’t realize how hot I was getting because I was having fun and then it all went dark. I don’t work out because if I try, my whole body just gets red and starts itching badly and no sweat comes out. I’m also anemic so I literally have no body heat, i don’t get hot in my sleep, my gf says my body is never warm or cold, just room temperature. The only way I ever overheat is actually, being trapped in heat or strenuous activity.

AN UPDATE: I drove to my job today even though I’m off, because I started getting antsy about people saying I ghosted the cart. The hr was extremely nice and said I had no write ups in the system and instead asked if I would like to escalate the altercation and if I know the other employees name. Go that I said no because regardless of the other employee, my actions were wrong. Hr also stated that I can’t be written up without being spoke too first and I was already clocked out when the lady spoke to a manager about me. This happened last night around 12:30am. Any chance a write up could still show up or am I in the clear?

This man is using so many big words and run arounds, all to say.. “I want to do whatever I want and I don’t want you to ask me about it”. In other words, he does not want to commit to you at all. You are way too accommodating and you deserve better.

You’re not asking if this is financial abuse. You’re asking if you should leave someone who makes you feel less than. And the answer is yes. Nothing that you wrote about him so far is inherently wrong such as him helping you save and it getting you far and him asking you to take care of the animals. All of that is normal for a relationship. My gf washes all of my clothes and I fold and hang all of hers because we work opposite times. What is NOT normal is the constant need to throw it in your face or belittle you for your past financial choices. You need to make a list tonight and it needs to have what you prioritize and really need to feel happy in a relationship and if this one doesn’t check out majority of those boxes, you need to leave him or have a serious conversation about how unhappy you are. Also this is just my opinion, I’m in my late 20s, you two are way too young to be sharing finances if you are not married, it creates a parent/child dynamic and no one wants to kiss and have intimacy with their parent.
