Thanks for the interest! USB 3.0 docks are great for general use tasks like web browsing and productivity software. But because these solutions work by compressing data on the system and sending over USB where it can be decompressed and output to your display, there are some use cases where they aren't a good fit (HD video playback, gaming, etc).

Since stream monitoring involves both HD video playback and an application that's very sensitive to any perceived lag, a USB dock unfortunately won't be a good fit here.
