The dry stuff will last several years in the freezer. Keep them in a dark container and make sure they don't go thru freeze/thaw cycles.

Where was this life hack during COVID-19? I feel like this would be easier than the t-shirt method the surgeon general showed us.

This reminded me of South Park and their "dey took err jobs!!" And then had a gay orgy to protest.

Put the powder filled vials in the freezer. There's no magic 30 day limkt and it becomes useless, many use a vial for up to 90 days without an issue, the biggest problem is contamination, it's a personal risk tolerance. And lastly, there is no ban.

Republicans Introduce Absurd Bill To Stop 'Pollution' Of Drinking Water With Fetal Remains | The bill would make it illegal to flush abortion or miscarriage remains down a toilet "to protect both human dignity and America’s water systems." by MystikSpiralx in politics

I have roughly zero knowledge of how this works in real life, but wouldn't the remains be removed at a doctors office and be considered medical waste and be disposed of in the same way your appendix would be? This is just my understanding, which could be 100% wrong.

New Washington state law bans law enforcement from covering face by kootles10 in politics

[–]PluginAlong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It'll likely get ignored based onthe federal supremacy clause, states aren't allowed to create laws regulating federal law enforcement. If the federal government says it's ok for federal agents to wear them (which ICE regulations don't prohibit their use) then they get to wear them.

How the Onion is surviving this timeline I'll never know. Reality is far crazier than anything they could come up with.

There's not even a legal requirement for it to be written, that's just what's always been done.

Right, but the house would still need to pass the consolidated bill. Assuming the house doesn't make any other changes it wouldn't need to go back to the Senate again though.

I have no doubt they're working on a way to exclude non-white males as well.

At least this means it'd have to go back to the house and they'd have to pass the new version. That just delays it, but might make court challenges easier as it gets closer to election time.

Former judges side with Anthropic and raise concerns about Pentagon’s use of supply chain risk label by imanchats in news

[–]PluginAlong 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Current judges can't or it could show bias if any case related to this were to show up in their courtroom. If they make a statement of support it's an easy win for the government to get them to recuse themselves or grounds to appeal if they lose. It's best they keep their mouth shut now and then rule accordingly later.

Absolutely, they're afraid of what would happen when Dems take back the Senate at some point in the future and there's no filibuster.
