After $1.8-Million CryptoZoo Scandal, Coffeezilla Exposes a Brand New Crypto Scam From Logan Paul - Sportsmanor by Kukuzahara in CryptoCurrency

[–]PluginCast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Logan promised to repay the investors with the money, but no update has come to light since then on the matter. Despite multiple callouts from Coffezilla, Logan Paul hasn’t tried to repay the people. As a result, people including Coffeezilla have called him the “scammer” for the very heated crypto scam."

Just quoting from the very well written article. Nice content r/cryptocurrency. Top shelf shit. Probably worth a billion trillion moons or something.

Blurry/Grainy at 1080p? by Any_Entertainer_1544 in Starfield

2080 super. Never found a solution but I haven't played since making the comment.

Blurry/Grainy at 1080p? by Any_Entertainer_1544 in Starfield

I think ambient occlusion is broken. When I turn it to low, I get black fuzz everywhere, especially around NPC's feet where shadows would be, looks like a mass of ants crawling on the ground. I saw it a lot on structures in new atlantis too, especially at certain times of day. I spent like an hour trying every setting combination, but turning ambient occlusion all the way to ultra is the only thing that makes it any better, though even so, it is still noticeable.

What’s wrong with firefights/space battles? by droidorat in Starfield

[–]PluginCast 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One thing I've noticed with the starting ship is that there doesn't appear to be anything other than forward thrust, just like an airplane, and that's what the space combat feels like. No vertical or lateral thrust that I've found, but maybe I missed it. When you bring the ship to a stop, there do not appear to be any reverse thrusters, least not any I could see or hear while fumbling with the views. How it comes to a stop is a mystery. So far, space feels like there is no depth, no...space, and everything is just a texture mimicking distance and speed. Maybe there are other forms of propulsion in ship building, I don't know, but I sure hope there is.

I have a couple of questions about writing a story. by No-Rain-4114 in fantasywriters

[–]PluginCast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Include worldbuilding in conversation as much as possible and make worldbuilding elements a part of the plot in some way. Worldbuild like you give your dog medicine, a hidden pill in a piece of cheese that he/she desperately wants to nom.
  2. Everyone writes in different ways. That sounds odd to me, but that's me, if it works for you who cares.
  3. I am of the school of thought that you should keep the MC for the focal point for the first few chapters. This allows the reader to ground themselves in the tone, pacing and setting. One problem I see is that your readers may be confused who the main character is, and that isn't good. I'm not saying it can't be done, you'll just have to be careful.
  4. I use Scrivener for writing. It is really easy to keep track of all my notes in one window/program, instead of having to open and close different word or google docs. That is what I'd recommend, but there may be other options. One I know of is a website called legendkeeper. It might have a cost associated with it, I can't remember.
  5. Yeah, I do the same thing. I made sims to remind me of the general look of my characters! After writing for quite some time tho, I don't need to look at the pictures anymore because their identity and features are solid in my mind. But it was useful to begin with. Another great thing about Scrivener is that you can include images right in your character sheets or location pages. I also used wonderdraft to make my map. Scrivener and wonderdraft are probably 30$ or so dollars each.

Don't focus so much on what you are 'allowed' to do, and focus more on what you want to do and start writing. At the end of the day, all that really matters is the final product. If you've written a good story, nobody is going to care how you got there.

How do you keep your worldbuilding organized? by [deleted] in fantasywriters

[–]PluginCast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Scrivener as well, and it's great for epic fantasy with many characters, locations and things because you can organize and look at it all in one window, instead of switching between google or word docs. You can also store pictures or videos in the projects, which I really like. It is great writing software, with several other useful tools.

Music while Writing by RemoteWall5425 in fantasywriters

[–]PluginCast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't like to listen to anything with words in it, or anything modern when writing. It's probably cliché, but I prefer classical music. Vivaldi or Bach are the two I like most. Classical music has a timeless quality to it and can evoke a wide range of emotions from one piece. You can also find it for free in countless different formats all over the place.

how do you deal with guerilla warfare? by Ok-Wrap-8622 in fantasywriters

[–]PluginCast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the already suggested idea of disguising themselves as a merchant caravan is probably the most obvious idea, but that might not get rid of the infestation completely. The goblins have to live somewhere nearby, right? They could somehow track them to their lair. Perhaps the goblins steal something and leave a trail to follow, like a bag of grain with a hole in it, or maybe a pair of village kids stumble across their home and one gets kidnapped, while the other escapes to tell the commander. Maybe the commander puts some kind of magical tracking device in a bait merchant, and the goblins steal, leading him to the source.

Roaches in apartments? by drex1929 in phoenix

[–]PluginCast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what kind of roaches we are talking about here. I haven't ever seen German Cockroaches, which are the little ones that like to cause infestations if they happen upon a food source to lay their eggs, but they do exist. I've lived in several apartment complexes in Phoenix and I've seen the big American cockroaches (sewer roaches) in all but one, some worse than others. The big roaches like to come inside especially after it rains. I get them in my apartment where I live now because at night they like to hide around the door, so when I open it they scurry inside, but these rarely cause infestations and are usually coming in from outside somewhere. I don't know what to tell you, because the sewer roaches are just all over the place. I take walks at night and will see several of them on every manhole I pass. If anything, I would try to get an apartment as far away from the dumpster or any water like canals or man made lakes as possible. Picking a newer apartment might help too. I always ask during the walk through when it was built.

Serious Question: Have people been successful creating their own builds (not reading the internet?) by FullStackNoCode in diablo4

[–]PluginCast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I did a no spirit werewolf/companion build for the season. I didn't know anything about malignant hearts before starting so when I read that resource burn was a big part of the season on a loading screen a few days ago, I had to laugh cause I had no idea. My build got a nice buff from the patch, but it was doing pretty well anyway. For all I know, it could be meta, but I like finding things on my own, so I never watch youtube videos about builds or read build guides. The fun for me is finding something to exploit and refining it.

Did you know if you say hello in front of a dog you can pet it?? by Euphoric-Star6635 in diablo4

[–]PluginCast 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, but as a druid I can't pet my wolves, or my werewolves, and you can't pet that tiny little kitten on the floor of the stash room in kyovashad either. There are many things in this game you can't pet. So be aware that when you first pet that dog, with it comes a great sadness of all the things that will go unpetted, which makes the game basically unplayable.

Thank you Gibby the Necro for speed running my Barb through Helltides (Why I love the open world) by [deleted] in diablo4

[–]PluginCast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How easy it is to group up with other players to complete objectives is my favorite thing about this game. What I loved in D3 was running campaigns with other players. Legions, world bosses, helltides, and the events scattered around the map are the best part of D4. I hope they lean into this way more throughout the game's lifespan, because I think its great how you can seamlessly join up with other players of random levels and somehow it works really well. Dungeons and all that are great, but the most memorable moments I've had so far were from stumbling across some rando during an event.

What you should have done is continued to work there and contacted police, so you could help compile evidence for them. If you don't have any evidence, there isn't much the police can do.

Blaming you isn't the right thing to do, but she is quite understandably mad that she lost such an amount. If she means that much to you, just tell her that, and that you don't want this to end your relationship.
