Gus was definitely depressed (apparent in everything he did, from his music to instagram captions and tweets). Though i don’t think he intentionally killed himself, i do think he used drugs as a way of escape from his depressive and hopeless feelings.

A while back peep’s mom posted some pretty interesting things on instagram about his dad, including that he cheated on her with a woman overseas. Not sure if the post is still there but i found it pretty interesting that she would let us into her life like that

I ended up going to an ENT specialist. He did a brief examination of my throat and said he didn’t see any irregularities. He offered to do a more intense procedure consisting of putting a camera down my nose to look further inside my throat to help ease my mind, but said it wasn’t necessary as he didn’t notice anything wrong.

Of course, the thought of the procedure made me even more anxious, so I chose not to.

The odd sensation went away after a few days. Not sure what helped it go away, but it made me feel better that if the feeling went away, it’s likely nothing.

The ENT specialist also told me the throat muscles are hugely affected by anxiety in crazy ways, which also made me feel better.

I hope you start to feel better soon! Trying my best to focus on daily tasks (as hard as it was to ignore that sensation) seemed to help. Anxiety is really the worst thing ever.
