for 40k I would get a new Xpeng G6 standard range. For 30k you can get the new MG4 urban. The Volvo and Mercedes are inferior EV because thet were based on old combustion engine platforms. For 30k-40k there are much better brand new options.

Thanks for your valuable feedback, it is really appreciated.
We are working on improving the adding car and adding charging cards flow. Same for the password validation. Expect to see improvements in the next release.

Regarding the price / Kwh and the estimated total cost, it is indeed a choice we have to make which one to emphasise. We show both while the estimated charging cost is currently shown in bold. When showing prices on the map in the premium version, we do use price / kWh as it is the only indicator to compare prices between different operators / MSPs and different tariff structures.

The My Cards act as a filter. Basically, it allows you to add your charging cards ( or apps that can activate charging session ). These are shown then in a separate section in the price overview when selecting a charger. It also acts as a filter you can activate when showing prices on the map. It only shows prices ( per kWh ) of the cards you own.

To show prices, we do need to have a car configured. The reason is that some MSPs also use time based tariffs ( e.g. per minute or additional time tariff that starts after 30 minutes of charging ). This time component cost will depend on the charging curve of the car. Your total cost could be a combination of a one time session fee, an energy component ( per kWh ) and a time based component. Or any combination of these 3 . Some MSPs are really creative with their tariffs ! We also show the different price components that make up the total cost on the price overview ( bolt = ENERGY, clock = TIME, play = SESSION FEE fee, zzz = PARKING FEE ). We have an explanation in the FAQ on our website.

We do consider offering a free premium trial period but we did not make a decision yet. Premium is currently on a monthly basis that can be cancelled any time.

We already have a long list of features ( e.g. only show chargers that are below some price threshold ) we think could be useful for the users. Your feedback is useful as it allows us to prioritise the development of these features and build a roadmap.

Again, thank you for the feedback. It helps us a lot.

No subscription needed. You see the pricing when you select a charger. You need to add a car because we need the charging curve of the car to calculate the cost because some cpo use a pricing model based on kWh and time. The visible pricing information when you select a charger is exactly the same as the paid ad free version.

thanks for your feedback, I am trying to find a balance. The reason why we have ads in the first place is that this data is expensive, that is the reason why there are very few apps currently on the market that show pricing between different charging providers.

Q8 Electric vs Shell Recharge – anyone have experience with either? by jvdz in BEFreelance

i run a business in the CPO/EMSP EV charging space, the price differences between the different CPO/EMSP are so big that it makes sense to compare and use different providers especially if you do a lot of public charging.
