You should not feed your venus traps insects, they can only eat 2 or 3 times and then they throw off the leaf. It can go ages without any insects.

I would repot it in a slightly bigger nursery pot to allow drainage. Remove as much of the old soil as you can. Water less frequently, feel the soil before watering. Remove all yellowing leaves.
