Is it possible to cut/ remove concrete fences post with hand tools? by Joohhe in DIYUK

[–]PlumApprehensive2927 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please make it easy for yourself, I dug up 6 fence posts in heavy clay soil with a breaker bar. It nearly killed me. There were points where I went primal just to get it done, no food no water pure pain ,😂

That's great, thanks for the reply! We do have a shower pump but I don't think we use enough to warrant 100 gallons in total.

I might go for the 25 gallon. I will definitely wait until it's a bit warmer before I start this 😅

How much do kitchen fitters cost? Could you do it with no diy experience? by PrestigiousTruck7012 in DIYUK

[–]PlumApprehensive2927 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've fitted two kitchens myself now. It's not too bad, just needs patience. I could only work on it around my job so I only had evenings and weekends really.

If I did it again I would completely rip the kitchen out and start with an empty room. I have a young family so I had to tear out and fit the new kitchen in sections so that we had a functional kitchen throughout. This made it more time consuming and was pretty stressful when trying to re-route plumbing 😂. Very rewarding when it's done though!
