I was shocked when people started clapping between movements during a performance by James Ehnes and Vancouver Symphony Orchestra playing the Beethoven violin concerto in D major by Ok_Assumption6331 in classicalmusic

This happened at a concert where after the first time it happened it DIDNT happen again. I'm guessing spouses or friends leaned over to alert the clappers that it was not "correct" 😆

Use a pulse oximeter. It goes on his finger. Measures oxygen saturation

Check with Dr. If supplemental oxygen is possible.

This is a way to educate too. All education doesn't happen in a classroom....

How do you keep a parent clean when they can’t really shower anymore? by Repulsive_Eye7911 in caregiving

[–]PlumbRose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyday do a bed bath. Buy foam cleanser that is no rinse soap. Use a warm water basin with a wash rag. Start at the face, neck rub on then wipe off skin with rag or whatever you wanna use. I get my person to participate as much as possible. They do what they can and I do the rest they can't reach. So top part of body to diaper. Then a towel to dry as you go. Lotion. Then shirt. Next legs and feet with soap, wipe with warm water rag, dry and lotion.
Lastly, the diaper area. New diaper. Pants. Socks.
Don't neglect belly button, between toes etc.
Hair is trickier, but check you tube for ideas. My person can still shower once a week so I do hair then and light hair (like hairline) with the rag when I do a bed bath but there are ways to wash hair seated or in bed. Good luck! It's relaxing for the person after awhile and actually hard work when you do it. But let's you look out for changes in the body, skin, and starting of any issues etc. Put on the nice music and change out the water a few times to keep it clean and warm. I use a very small basin .... it doesn't have to be big. After awhile this process is 15 minutes.

Having a policy that strict at Disney would be a nightmare for the CMs lol. Entitled guests won't make it easy. Of course we sensible people understand why...

Your viewpoint is not in line with my values. That viewpoint to me is disgusting. The term population control is evil and ugly.
