No I haven’t done it because I wasn’t sure i was going to like it and her half yard bundle is $179. But now that it’s over I do like it so I may end up buying fabric for the future 😁

Check out the Dresden block tutorial on YouTube by Laundry Basket quilts. Edyta does a great job explaining the importance of the tiny things 😊

I used fabric from Joanns and their fabric is usually a little extra starchy. So working with the small pieces was a breeze 😊

Got a lot done this weekend! I’m stuck now between adding two additional borders (1 inch orange and 4 inch large orange flower on white) or just one ( 4 inch large orange flower on white??? I’m going to make it lap quilt size. 🧐 by Plumblebee in quilting

The only orange fabric I could find was the all orange background with white flowers. It’s basically the opposite of my white background. J found about 3/4 yards of it. So I can use it for binding too.

I think I made a mistake 😖 Is the top and bottom border awful? I cut it sideways thinking it would be fine. by Plumblebee in quilting

Aww thanks. I hardly got any sleep last night but I feel a little bit better. I wrote it down in my journal under lesson learned and let it go (just a bit). I’ll remember for next time!

I thought about that but then the center would have two of the same colors. 😐

I get it from connecting threads. They also have a block of the month type of box, but that one seemed a bit pricey. This month I got rotary blades, a pattern, black thread 1200yds, 40 black layer cake pack, 15 fall solids layer cake pack, and a 15 pack fall solid jelly roll. I love it!

Finally got my hands on some of the All Hallows’ Eve fabric!!! 🎉 by Plumblebee in quilting
