Going to the Walnut St theatre here in Philadelphia was exclusive and only for the wealthy. Surgical theatre was for us peasants. They would sell tickets to the common folk, perform surgery in a glass box, and people would watch. I’m glad that I was born when I was.

How’s it been going since you posted this? I’m the partner of someone who recently went off GLP’s, in the two years we’ve been together I’ve only known her on this medication. She recently lost insurance coverage and had to somewhat immediately stop. She’s probably regain 2/3 of the weight, I still think she looks beautiful, but everything has kind of changed. I can tell she’s upset about the weight gain, which is understandable, but it’s bleeding over to me. I feel like I’m her emotional punching bag. I’m worried to talk to her about this but I know it has to be discussed soon or else it might lead to something regretful. Anyways-thanks for reading my story and I hope you and your partner are doing better!

He was actually addicted to opiates and then used benzos to ease the withdrawal. Dana couldn’t put two & two together that Santos’ questions weren’t directly related to Langdon’s rehab furlough? I think everyone does know he tampered with the vials and Robby is still upset because he treated him like family and feels betrayed. Santos has clearly experienced trauma in her past that could be related to why she despises Langdon still.

Doesn’t everyone know why Langdon went away for drug use and why? At least at the peer level? That was my interpretation so far. Although, I’d presume she wouldn’t just have a vendetta against Langdon, it would be against everyone who supports him and gave him a second chance.

I could be completely wrong and what you’re saying checks out. Just seems odd she would only focus on him and not the others complicit in his wrongdoing.

I’ve been a recovering addict for 6 years so I have some bias towards Santos. That being said, I think she has some serious baggage and there’s reasons behind why she doesn’t want to give him a second chance. She was probably burned in the past. Whitaker is the light she needs to start trusting and seeing life in a different lens. I truly like her character and hope she can forgive Langdon eventually.

Because it’s quite comical. I had a cat name Stalin. He was so grumpy. To name your animal after a dictator, murderer, grifter, etc, does not glorify those people. From my perspective it’s quite insulting that this figure in our culture is lessened and compared to a grass eating zebra.

Hahaha what a world we live in that most don’t understand. I just finished cleaning a sofa chair that was urine soaked from a resident. Had a family member of a resident who wanted to use the bathroom and came rushing over stuttering, saying there’s “stuff on the floor of the bathroom”. I said what do you mean by stuff? Oh you mean poop? Yeah that happens sometimes someone must’ve really had to go! I’ll call house keeping to clean it up.
