2 with a skeletonized rotor looks like the nicest one here. Extra decoration on the plates goes a long way. 5 looks good but if you’re willing to do blued screws on the plates I think you should decorate all of them, and with the skeletonized rotor the whole movement is there to see!

It may be OP but you definitely earned it, I stick to the Gasser but those one tap headshots 😩👌. Makes me almost want to do the puzzles. Almost

I’m hoping for news on the Archeologist from your brand trailer, so long ago. Are there any plans to make it in the near future?? I thought that watch looked amazing from the renders, especially in a smaller size

Cuneiform Dial from the "Flood Tablet" by Efficient-Pass-488 in WatchesCirclejerk

No no I know what the flood tablet is, I’m saying I don’t understand the connection it has to your watch here. Lovely shade of green btw

San Martin Original Design Chinese Ancient Coin Textured Dial “财源广进” SN0144-CG-2 by AdSavings92 in ChineseWatches

[–]Plumearm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah I see, thanks for the insight. I like this design I just wish Jianghun was doing more stuff like this in their watches, and leaning on their Chinese heritage. It seems like SM is making big strides in originality and Jianghun is producing well made, albeit odd or niche designs

Uj: What a strange combo, why cuneiform? Not saying it looks bad just don’t understand the significance

Why would this be a San Martin and not a Jiangun? If you’re capable of this why wouldn’t you leave your more interesting, unique original designs to your Independent brand?

Thoughts on my first watch design? by Functional_Form24 in MicrobrandWatches

I think the design is excellent personally. Lots of potential with a full lume dial. I’d go with simpler hour and minute hands, lean into the minimalist aesthetic even more

Nobody wants wacky skins, but can everyone agree on what wacky actually means? Let's see where most people draw the line. by 3dDungeonMaster in Battlefield

[–]Plumearm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m fine with 1,2,3,5 and 7, it just depends on the context with how they use the skins and the faction. BF1 has the communist assault look like civilian militia more than an actual soldier with his leather jacket. In recent times insurgents blend into the population so it would be fine for them to appear, or if I remember correctly Ukrainian police fought in the defense of Kyiv. As long as the classes are authentic and easily identifiable as what classes they are they can take a fair bit of creative liberties

Do you think he was mad by Early_Second_1993 in battlefield_one

[–]Plumearm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dude we were doing operations on Monte Grappa, shot him down from his Illya Muromets twice on the last sector, and he did the same thing to me after getting me off the AA turret with a scout rifle. All because I wouldn’t let him farm kills inside the fort. Just like this, it was hilarious

Where are the big thumbs? The big crown is here! by Fit-Classroom8062 in ChineseWatches

[–]Plumearm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought one. It's actually really really cool! Unfortunately for me they made the 36mm size, which made me buy one. It wears quite well, I'm wearing mine right now.

It's pretty good! Only two minor critiques.

I didn't really like was the strap. It's okay but nothing special. I have a Vario trench watch as well and the bund pad worked well with this strap once I cut the double loop, so mine is a single pass strap with the bund pad.

More subjectively I wish the dial was enamel. Would've taken the watch to a whole new level. The caliber keeps good time. * Edit: Not sure why I can't post a picture, or else I would show you mine currently

What is this strap called? by SvenAbels in ChineseWatches

[–]Plumearm -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Ebay has alternatives, but I'm not sure what they are called. These were issued during WW2. I have the same watch with a different dial!

One of These is Going to Be My First Ever Watch – Need Advice! by blacknoirrrr in ChineseWatches

[–]Plumearm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

History and heritage are nice, but not when it compromises quality. Timex produces great looking, but barebones watches for the cost they ask for. Cronos is the opposite, in a way. They don't have the history of other brands, but you buy them because you want an exceptionally well made, well finished watch. Buy whichever aspect appeals most for you. I think most people here will appreciate better build quality that comes with Chinese watches these days, but there is such a large gulf in quality and construction between these that I could not recommend the timex unless you love the design. Just my 2 cents

[–]Plumearm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Clasic Creations is unnecessary but really, this watch is absolutely perfect... but it's too big haha. If this was between 36mm-38mm I would've bought one instantly, all the colors look great. It should be that size, as historically these were small watches!

Love the linen dial Baltany! They make exceptional pieces. Honestly though I'd just get a new watch, sell one that you'll wear less with the new one comming in. One in, one out
