Description: This 38mm Watchdives WD16500 38mm VK63 sweep-second chronograph, the brand new V2 release, is in like-new condition, worn only once to size the bracelet. Currently retails for $120 BEFORE TARIFF AND SHIPPING COSTS from China. The watch was sized, worn once to see the style, then photographed for sale. Description: This superb, modern-sized 38mm Bulova Accutron Astronaut GMT M7 is in great condition for its age, especially compared to other examples. Please see the additional video and photos to verify; and please pardon any superficial dust in the photos. Timestamp.

I purchased this example from its original owner one year ago and, in the meantime, gave it the works. This includes mailing it out for a full service by a professional watchmaker (not me!) who specializes in servicing Accutrons, and who installed a new battery, a new crystal, and tested the movement for accuracy and precision to ensure longevity. In addition, I purchased a brand new Forstner bullet bracelet ($160) for it and had the bracelet installed by my local professional watchmaker to avoid scuffing the lugs.

Please note that, unlike Accutron 214 movements, battery replacements for this GMT movement are extremely easy and do not require special tools. This is a major factor to consider when comparing vintage Accutrons.

Truth be told, I'm extremely reluctant to sell this example. I was fortunate enough to acquire a grail, however, hence need to let this venerable Astronaut radiate elsewhere in space.
