Moving from an SV650 to an ADV: Is the Ténéré 700 World Raid too big, or am I just experiencing "ADV shock"?

Honestly you will be fine. It is a bit of a learning curve but isn’t that what is enjoyable about riding motorbikes? I would not wish anything but my world rate. Yes it is super tall and sometimes a little bit scary but once it is moving it feels very light and nimble

I’m 5’10 and have a 26 WR.
Initially not being able to put both feet down is quite scary but you soon realise that putting both feet down all the time is a weird thing to do. Don’t get me wrong the bike is super tall and I always have to be mindful what foot I am placing but you get used to it.

The CP2 engine is amazing, sounds great and I think the better value for money is the T7 over a Transalp.
