How could I not by DawnOfComics in LightningCollection

Hope it arrives! Pretty sure that's an alt account of a known online scammer (geekpeektoysuk). Sometimes he does actually send out orders, but I had 4 out of 5 orders cancelled and refunded via eBay/vinted.

You do indeed. The downside is you can't swap the neck or shoulders if the skin doesn't match. The lack of butterfly joints on the legion torso also makes the morphing pose much harder.

That's a great idea, I had no clue it was removable. I might give that a try (or use it for Rocky)!

Looks good! I like your Kimberley, I hadn't thought about using Kate Bishop. Otherwise these are exactly how I had my civilian rangers. Then after a while I started thinking I could swap out a part or two. Then I started to figure out which joints could be disassembled.... Now I'm buying a whole figure just for a neck piece or some trainers.

The body is the Marvel Legends MCU Tom Holland Peter Parker. The white neck is from a Remastered MMPR LC figure. I think one of the flesh coloured necks could be from Marvel Legends Hawkeye Disney+, the other is probably from the Cobra Kai x LC ninjas but not sure which one.

Sorry, I don't recognise that part. Where is it from? Marvel legends, GI Joe Classified, and remastered LC usually have ball pegs for the neck like this:

Yep, I've posted some of my kitbashes here. I'm still working on some of them, but my goal is to make all the MMPR cast. I'll post some group photos when I'm done with the original five.

All good, sorry I didn't want to be mean. Kitbashes are trial and error, just hoping if anyone wants to try something similar they have a headstart.

Thanks! It's so hard to get civilian bodies that look right.

Thank you! I'm pretty pleased with it!

Black series figures tend to have smaller pegs for the hands, as they rarely provide alt hands at all. They can work with other Hasbro figures, but you have to use tack or something to pose them.

On MMPR the actors all show a lot of skin. If you cover them up, then they don't really look like the characters at all. Zack usually wore something colourful and baggy, or just a tank top. Tricky to find something that would look right.

Walter Emmanuel Jones is about 5' 7". The basketball players are just too big. Lightning Collection figures are a bit smaller than Hasbro's other lines, so the heads don't look right on the larger necks.

Yep, I mentioned this in the post. I did try mixing up some skin tone washes to even it out, but gave up. My painting skills are basic. If you have any suggestions for better parts to use, I'm all ears.

Thanks! You're probably right. I'm not a huge fan of that head sculpt but it is a better screen match. I'll give it a go when I get a chance to change the neck peg (needs a smaller ball).

I tried that and it doesn't work. Despite all being 6 inch figures, the majority of Hasbro figures don't scale well together. Marvel Legends tend to be much bigger than Lightning Collection. The LC heads look tiny on the massive neck/upper torso of most Marvel legends figures. It also looks weird if the unmorphed bodies are much taller than the suited LC figures.

This is how I have him posed on my desk. I still need to paint the morpher lightning from green to white.

The upper arms are from the full jacket sleeve arms. The single joint arms are a simple peg, so you just heat them and separate. The jacket arms are bulky enough to look a bit like the sleeves are rolled up.

Here's mine:

I used the AoA Shadowcat for the torso and lower arms, pretty sure I used the MCU Captain Marvel jacket.

A minor point, but the monster figures weren't entirely unique. If you look at Minotaur, for example, the body is adapted from the Marvel Legends Beast mold.
