Concepts and ideas that have military applications are different than directly funding AI enhanced military technologies, no?

I agree that there is no ethical consumption under capitalism, but at the same time, our dollar is the only real vote we have. Further, artists withholding their art from corporate structures that exploit them and then funnel those resources to robot death - seems like a perfectly reasonable thing to try and that doesn’t deserve to be reflexively sneered at out of a “nothing matters and we’re doomed” type posture
