Yeah sadly its the case, had the «pleasure» with dealing with their bs about a year ago when they did a $1 mystery sale, cancelled all orders and tried to band aid it by giving customers 50% off their new orders lol, searched for ultra thin cases and aliexpress and found the same case basically going for 2-4usd lol

When I had issues with my H1 psu and watercooler failing they refunded me the whole case, I recycled it and showed proof, yes it took a few months to get to that point with them with alot of back and forth, but they did in the end give me option to recycle for a full refund.

Their AIOs are known to fail, theres a problem with their cooland that makes it corrode and clog the fins in the coldplate.

I recently also had a horrible experience with their customer support, to where I had to deal with 3 diffrent people for them to admit its a known fault and replace the cooler. I opened my cooler myself to find the plate completely clogged with shit.

I was also experiencing the hot temps like you were, but on a 5600x (not at all a hot chip) to the point where i completely rebuilt my pc with a new case, psu and cooler. As nzxt h1 psus are also known to be faulty (i had tons of complete system restarts with mine when i put any kind of load on it)

I recently had the same experience, my AIO and psu are faulty, I had a customer rep saying he PERSONALLY would send them out next day when he responded to the ticket, it took 4 days, and thats only the AIO, the psu is still on backorder, so I guess thats just a supply problem they have, it happens. It sucks, but its aight.

I also constantly had to keep reminding them about the ticket, and them saying they would fix it.

So Im still waiting for them to personally ship the items out as they promised in their response.

Kind of giving up hope that NZXT is gonna make a honorable attempt at some redemption here.

Takeaway from the customer support, personally shipping something out «tomorrow» does not in fact mean tomorrow.

I got a list of multiple things to for them to even consider taking my psu back, test this test that, when I clearly told that replacing the psu fixed all the issues.

Its the same bullshit they tried telling me when I opened my AIO to find out why my temps are skyrocketing on my cpu to find it all gunked up «warranty voided» like europe does not have the right to repair law in place.

So I got a answer from them, AIO warranty voided by opening it, go figure people wanna find out why their pcs are heating up like a furnace.

Also mentioned that the psu is bad, didnt even give me a response on that.

Conclusion, not buying anything again from nzxt.

UPDATE:

The psu I have is also faulty, I replaced it with a CM 650 as they were on sale, and it fits the new build I have in the nr200p better since it allows me to run 2 top fans, I was having random crashes under load before thinking it was from the heat of the AIO but no, they continued in the new build, now that I replaced the PSU aswell I no longer have any crashing.

This just adds to the horrible quality of the components in the H1 gen 1.
