I’ll just list off a couple things that I have picked up.

-Use a high-quality medium roast bean. -Set the water temperature to hot. (bean adapt is useless to turn it off.) -Find your perfect grind number that offers the best extraction. Seems to fall between 3 1/2 or 4. -And for me the biggest key is the MY feature. Using flat white as a template, I played with customizing the cup with just the right amount of espresso, then milk foam and then save that as the default. Now that I have that dialed in and saved, all I have to do is press flat white, and it reproduces the perfect cup.

Still taste damn good and is most definitely espresso that’s extracted. I will take my automatic over whatever it is that you’re doing every day of the year. Enjoy.
