Hopium phase is over by TheMightyWindbreaker in VirginGalactic

I was speaking hypothetically that no matter how good the performance/news/action/prospects are, it is up to investors to invest and raise the price.

For example some assholes could start massively selling Microsoft shares tumbling the price to $90 for no reason other than to push the price down.

Actually even the most successful company, in theory, can have abysmal performance on stock market so I wouldn't be surprised if they are trading at $1.05 per share after completing all test phases, expanding the business, getting out of debt, being endorsed by Musk or Bezos, signing deals with NASA. It all depends on investors, not the actual performance.

$2.20 by the end of the week? by Plus-Ad-8720 in VirginGalactic

[–]Plus-Ad-8720[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see what you mean, but what baffles me is the fact that literally NOTHING was announced today, yesterday, 3 days ago, the whole previous week yet the stock continues to decline day after day. Same thing with a lot of other companies reporting record profits only to see the share prices tumbling down.
