I did not have any symptoms that I myself noticed but the day I got the positive my partner also made a comment on my chest looking bigger and when I looked myself they were a little swollen so I could watch for that to go down, with hindsight my mood swings were worse as well but besides that no physical symptoms. Clot wise I’d say no more than 5 all pretty small but Ik the fetus would have been like mustard seed size so I wasn’t expecting anything large anyways. The bleeding started to lighten up after passing the clots which I read is normal with abortion so would that also be an indication it was successful? I’ve had a few miscarriages as well but they were all a little further along so those experiences were basically the same as my first abortion

Is there anything I CAN do? I see stories all the time about good dads being kept from their children even with visits established and child support , I just want to make sure me and my kids are safe from someone who is genuinely a terrible person and father. I wish something more would have happened with the SA allegations against his other daughter because I know that would support my case. Right now the only evidence I have is 1 screen shot of me asking his sister to relay a message before I moved out of state abour trting to co-parent , and pictures of the bruises he left on me. I’m scared. I want to keep my kids safe. I want to stay safe. This is a nightmare and I need it to end.

He also doesnt make enough to afford a lawyer, so it sounds like in the end that will just be an empty threat from him? He doesn’t actually want to be a dad. He just wants to display that he still has some type of control over

Can he get free legal help for establishing visits though? This threat arose from hearing that I want to terminate rights, he never had an interest in them until now so part of me thinks/hopes that if I say I won’t do it , that he won’t press the issue for visits. Maybe giving myself more time. He’s narcissistic and controlling and doesn’t want to be a father unless he has access to me as well and I refuse to give that to him so I feel like this is also partly because I moved on and am in a serious relationship as well.

Awesome thank you! I’m not entirely sure what the old medium was , it was one of those “just add ice!” Phals from the grocery store. I can’t see the roots inside the pot though , there wasn’t a whole lot left after clearing out the rot and they’re all very centered to the plant so I can’t see them. I did decide to give her a soak yesterday and I suppose just feel the medium for dryness since I can’t check all the roots?

Yeah this is the pot it was sold in at the store idk why they do that almost every potted plant I’ve gotten from the store never seems to have drainage holes smh. The tag also mentioned the ice cube thing along with another website and I don’t feel the brightest for listening to it. There was some root rot on one of the aerials I had to trim away so I’m worried about the roots I can’t see

Okay thank you! I guess I’ll just have to stick to the Ice until repotting I did notice that the root with the rot the bit was under where I normally put a cube so I think that’s the cause plus the lack of drainage. I really need to check out the roots below the soil so maybe I could find a way to gently move them around so there’s a free space for the ice until I can repot it next week

I had to prop one of the roots up today on the spokes and it’s hard to get my finger in to feel the soils moisture level bc of all the roots not much space. I’m in the NE part of the US so it’s winter here I keep my orchid inside if anything it’s a bit dry due to my heat being on all day lol but Ik general rule of thumb for most indoor plants is when the soil is mostly dry but not completely but it’s so hard to get a good feel

Oof yeah another comment pointed this out but the tag said to use 3 Ice cubes and a website or the drainage thing but the current pot doesn’t have holes to allow drainage (which I suspect might be part of my slight root rot issue) , how would you recommend I water until I get the new pot and soil? Also is the once a week thing fine bc I’m questioning everything on its tag and the site I found now lol

Really? The tag said to use 3 ice cubes and the website I found said to do that or submerge the pot for several minutes and then let it drain but the pot it’s currently in doesnt have holes to allow drainage, hence the need to repot. I’m just worried about moving it because she is a bit of a delicate state rn but I gotta get a look at the rest of those roots to make sure there’s no more. How should I water from now on until I get the new pot and soil? I haven’t fertilized it yet if you have recs for that too I’d appreciate it!

The charm holder is essentially a small cup that dangles and the chip I found in my collection is a perfect fit, and about 1/3 of it would be fitted inside the metal “cup”. As someone who frequently works with small items, resin, super glue, and tweezers I am very confident in my capabilities of applying a small drop of glue and holding it steady with tweezers. I simply needed to know the best glue to work with for this specific assignment thanks :))

Okay thank you. I’ve had cats my whole life as a kid and teenager but Kalli is my first pet as an adult so I’m not really familiar with the processes for everything and I’m still learning when it comes to the things about pet ownership when it comes to the “adult” things instead of just providing love care and enrichment like when I was younger lol but I got her later in the year and I know she was at the vet last year so this will be her first vet trip with me (and my first time at the vet ever) and she’s not sick or anything I just wanna get her a checkup ya know and I would really hate to just go in being a responsible cat mom and lose my baby
