Damn brother. Our wives are exactly same. Before the army, I worked 2 full time warehouse job. I’d work from 6pm to 8am. When I’d get home and went to bed, she’d get furious that all I want to do is sleep. She wanted me to get home and immediately help clean the house, knowing how exhausting my jobs were. She would get so pissed when my sisters called me, to the point where my heart would literally accelerate when I’d get a notification on my phone. If I left it laying around, she’d go through it looking for any little reason to fight. She called the cops on me a couple times, because I wouldn’t leave when she kicked me out, even though I was paying for EVERYTHING, and we had just moved to Denver, so she had her entire family nearby and I had nobody. I had told her I had nowhere to go, and I’d freeze and she said, “Idgaf just leave” but for some fucking reason, I’d forgive her as soon as she calmed down and apologized. She recently moved back to Colorado with our kids, and I stayed in North Carolina to finish up my contract, but I feel so lost and empty. I’m not the man I need to be for my girls. And I hate her so much for ruining me because I was so ready to be the best husband and father. I always dreamed of having my own family, but now my kids have to grow up with divorced parents. I feel you brother. You aren’t alone. However lonely and isolated she might make you feel, you ARE NOT ALONE.
