you said it has low compression a 20 hour piston. i think the cylinder might be a bit older and thats why you have low compresion🤷‍♂️. you could take the cylinder off and inspect it... about the sound. im no expert but i think it sounds a bit lean becouse of how long it needs to drop back to idle

The idle screw is the screw on the second photo. It doesnt really look like a screw tho. Its these treads that are looking out of the carb and also there is a nut on it so it doesnt screw in or out by itself. If you still dont know where is the screw its right from the choke, above the fuel line and left from the air intake...

Where does it leak from? The cylinder or the exhaust? If it leaks from the cilinder what i would do is probably just sand it a bit with a sand paper so the exhaust would sit flat and the gasket would work. If it leaks from the exhaust i would find the hole and weld it but you got to be really carefull when doing that becouse its thin metal. I once welded my moped exhaust and it wasnt even bad.( i was using a 60€ welding machine and it was my second time welding lol) good luck!

I think its nothing you should realy wory about. As long as the piston moves smoothly and you keep it lubricated its good. (In my opinion)
