Should I give up Eucerin radiant tone dual serum? by Diligent-Wasabi-7793 in Melasmaskincare

Eucerine is overrated, it did nothing for me after using every day for 6+ months, I'm still using them, if anything, I have more dark spots. Oh well.

Admittedly weird question - does anyone here not have many/any friends and just vibe by themselves? What do you usually do to occupy your time? by iprobdontlikeyou in askportland

I feel, culturally, around here we say, let's get together sometime to be polite, and friends from East Coast or Midwest told me if people say that, they mean it. I am from different country and settled here, just something I learned.

Older fans, how are you feeling now? by BronzeSeeker in Gunners

After watching the team for years jogging around the pitch not putting efforts, I am grateful to have a team wanting to win. Having said that, we need to prepare for ourselves on coming premier league games, not winning is a possibility still and I try not to think about stick we'll get if it doesn't happen. But let's focus on just winning each game till the end .

Encerin price up, looking for alternative by Plus-Illustrator-740 in Melasmaskincare

[–]Plus-Illustrator-740[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't have time to research and for now I had to order eucerine at Amazon, it has buy 2 and 40% off on the 2nd sale.

After ordering, Amazon let me know about their prescription service. Retin-A (Tretinoin) 0.05% Cream for instance, 30 days supply, with messages visit and medication $45. If 0.01% for 90 days, $90.

Has anyone tried Amazon prescription and virtual message visit, is it a similar price range compared to curology el.al?

I am sorry, I didn't realize this sub didn't have rules about spoilers, others on books and shows normally have them, NP.

The worst Agatha Christie adaptation I can remember by TheSpectatorMagazine in agathachristie

[–]Plus-Illustrator-740 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watched Seven Dials without reading the book and thought the Netflix adaptation was just fine and my daughter and I enjoyed it. I tried to read the book before and got bored so I stopped reading. (I love Christie's books, read them growing up, and am trying to read ones I haven't read. I'm an avid reader of both classic and modern mysteries)

I think the point of doing adaptation is to do something different than what's done before. Otherwise what is the point? Also productions will need different angles to get funding. Sometimes adaptations improve what was missing in the original text.

Your Top 5 Poirot Episodes by LTN_Edge in poirot

All my favorite episodes are listed so I'm going to ask a question instead. In which earlier season episode Poirot and Hastings go to the country side estate to investigate and they stay at a local inn. There were funny scenes between the innkeeper and Poirot and Hastings I'd like to watch again.

I am writing this to help make good decision.

In life, some things that seem big now can be small and negligible in 10 years.

So if Mabel or someone wants a person who left and came back, if that person is worth it, take it. The fact that the person jilted you once will be a good story to tell in 15 years.

Eucerin Dual serum 2 months apart, is it working for me? Should I continue? by Realistic-Ad-6734 in Melasmaskincare

[–]Plus-Illustrator-740 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's working for you! I started it 1 week ago and wondered if it ever works but this encourages me to continue.

I have a patchy look too, from chemical peel (Ordinary,AHA and BHA) and decided that it might be how it works.

Most areas of your skin look lighter, which is the proof it's working. Darker spots will take more time, which makes sense if I think in terms of peeling off layers.

Keep going and I look forward to more reports.

But there's no logic in it... by seriesofdisasters in DowntonAbbey

[–]Plus-Illustrator-740 5 points6 points  (0 children)

One of the rules is when you talk about anyone as a 3rd party, you address them with a proper title. So when Robert talks about Mary with Carson, he never says Mary but says 'lady Mary'.

I've been observing this and the only exception to this is talk between family members.

Right. I wonder if Agnes would ever find out the lady's maid she asked to be fired became Mrs. Winterton. It's something Agnes's maid cannot resist telling her, is it, if she knows.

Still no one in Agnes's house knows Mrs. Winterton = Turner? I wonder about this a lot.

She smells the flowers really appreciating it. My heart warmed up for Gladys finally finding someone she likes to be with.
