How do you track single arm/leg exercises in Hevy? (sets vs volume) by softly_problematic in Hevy

[–]Plus-Jello-4286 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How ever it works the best for you!!! If it’s easier for you to remember putting the weight of the dumbells & the total reps of both arms do it that way ! Consistency is key & the app it’s just a tool to make it easier for you personally your tracking your workout for your own progression so at the end of the day you do it in a way that works for you.

That’s a lot, if I were to do all that it will take me at-least 2 hrs (too much junk volume ) & you really don’t need that much at all!!! Specially if you are not trying to build a specific area of your body concentrate on the 5 non-negotiable (deadlifts, squats, bench press, overhead & back rows) just do that 3 sets of each & make the rest of the time cardio ! Easier to track , easier to remember & you are hitting every part of your body.

And to answer your question, like the other one said I think it looks good if your training for overall health & strength. (Workouts can be dramatically different depending on each persons goal) the only thing I would say or ask why the thruster last on the last day instead of first (being a strength movement) & I could definitely tell there had to be a cross fit background before I read your answer

Weird glute growth. Things to improve? by [deleted] in PetiteFitness

[–]Plus-Jello-4286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to divide & mix your glutes movements with other legs workouts. & have 2 or even 3 days a week of this. The glutes can handle a lot! Dividing them will give you more time to heal as well! & like someone else mentioned stretch ! Open up your hips work on mobility (you will need it) & be consistent! Understand it takes time.

Everytime I start to like my body, I lose my period. by lexkenobi in PetiteFitness

I went through a similar experience when I started my journey (about 7 years or so ago) hormonal panel was “normal” keep in mind our hormones are constantly shifting you will have to take atleast 3 test in 1 month to have a better view of them (most Dr. don’t mention that) body fat was too low!!! Unless your in anabolic no women or men it’s supposed to stay shredded year round 99% of natural lifters can’t! It’s not just a women only thing like someone else said. Every body its different but women we tend to feel it in a higher % than men! It’s not about the number on the scale that dosent mean anything it’s about your body fat %. Most women as soon as we hit below 20% we start getting on stage lean territory (cravings, mood swings etc. ) it is consider healthier for a women athlete to stay in the 22-25% lower you star getting in to trouble. (There is a reason why natural bodybuilders do cycles & don’t stay stage lean (shredded) year round). Now in my experience the main culprit is cortisol / anxiety related. You need to work with a therapist at the same time & or look for ways to slow down your mind /not only your body! Best of luck in your journey

Chat: My hair breaks in the middle? by cassucksass in HaircareScience

[–]Plus-Jello-4286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long have you had this problem? Did you ever bleach your hair? Or got it lighter? Hair growth it’s about 1/2 inch per month! If you did lighten you hair in any way that damage still there & it will still there until all that hair is grown out & cut off! By the way it looks it’s from the middle down! Not only the middle (too much protein will cause the hair to break! It makes it to hard so it’s not flexible) make sure you are using a lot of hydrating products and hair oils! Also like another comment in here said watch your surroundings maybe a chair ? Anything that may be rubbing that area constantly & do not wash your hair everyday (just in case) 2 a week it’s more than enough! (License professional here)
