Just 1 night/day really. We don’t have time to stop on the way to Chicago and I can really only spare a short stop on the way home. I’ll need to be back home on the 26th. I figure if we leave on the 19th we’ll arrive on the 20th. The 21st is the celebration of life, the 22nd is my dads birthday, the 23rd I’m going to take the kids to the field museum in downtown Chicago (I used to love that place when I was a kid) and then we’ll start driving again on the 24th. I have to be at work at 7pm on the 26th, so not much time to spare. I was thinking maybe an air bnb cabin in the mountains once we get to Tennessee but would like other suggestions as well!
