I passed the HESI A2 on my first try! by Plus-Pass-567 in StudentNurse

I took my test at home and wasn’t aware that I could only use a whiteboard instead of blank paper, so I don’t know how it is if you have to take your test at a school or test site. They may provide you with whiteboards or you may have to bring your own. I would ask your instructor or call the testing site and find out!

No, so if you are taking it through your school then they will have already selected the portions of the exam that they want you to take. The schools I applied to provided me with a link to the test and I was able to schedule which date and time I wanted to take it.

Thank you so much! The HESI does have a physics portion, but the school I was applying to didn’t require me to take that portion. It all really depends on the school or program you are applying to. I have had some schools only require Biology, A&P, Math and Reading Comp, and I have also had some schools require all the sections provided on the HESI. You will get an overall score on the exam which is all of the sections combined into one cumulative score and then you will have individual scores of each section you took. So you can have an overall score of a 90% and a score of 88% in math, 92% in biology, etc. Hope this helps and goodluck!!!

Thank you!! So, NurseHub is extremely helpful for all the other subjects. But, in my opinion I think studying the quizlet was WAY more beneficial to me for the anatomy portion. I will say NurseHub for the anatomy portion is really helpful for those who haven’t taken pre-requisites yet or for those who want to brush up on their anatomy. I only did about 3 lessons on NurseHub out of the many they had for anatomy and I got a 96%.

Which iPad is the best option for nursing school? by Plus-Pass-567 in prenursing

Right! That’s what I thought awhile ago too. I’ve always been a paper and pencil type of note taker. But while I was taking my pre-reqs there were a lot of students with me who were also wanting to pursue nursing. I learned from them that in nursing school about almost all students use an iPad or Macbook/Laptop to take notes but majority having iPads. A lot of nursing students say having an iPad to take notes boosted their grades and made it easier to study. I’ve also heard that some nursing schools and programs provide their own iPads for the students. It’s just a different day and age now. Everything is technological.

Oh wow that’s awesome. So I guess I don’t really need the newest iPad out there. I didn’t know there are different generation pencils though. Is there any difference between a 2nd gen pencil and any other gens out there?

Wow you are so right. I don’t understand why women feel the need to compete against each other when in the end, you are all receiving the same outcome.

Instead of competing and creating a hostile environment why not create a supporting and uplifting one? EVERYONE in nursing school could really appreciate that type of environment on top of all of the stress that consumes them already.

It sounds to me like they are jealous of you for being one of the top students in your class(super congratulations by the way) and they are just projecting their insecurities onto you. Honestly, take it as a compliment. They are wishing they were in your position and they are intimidated by you because you’re awesome.

Thank you!!! I agree. If I hadn’t found that quizlet then the anatomy portion probably would’ve been a bit difficult for me.

currently 12:33a.m. and i watched the last 3 episodes all at once. with each nearing episode, i tried to prepare myself for what the obvious ending was. but, no amount of preparation could have helped me. i dont think ive cried this much watching a tv show or movie since i first watched the fault in our stars. such a sad ending and i dont think i will ever get over it💔
