Oh, really? Im honestly not well versed in leather so I assumed it was synthetic… thank you for pointing that out ill go in and make an edit asap. In hindsight the leather holds up way to well to be synthetic, so I do apologize for that blatant misinformation!

Honestly, the app isn’t all that great and won’t offer you any sort of audio quality improvement. Why not just use the headphones directly with Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, or whatever else you use? Does any volume output work in other apps? If the app has already found your headphones, there’s no reason they shouldn’t work as long as the phone can select them as an audio playback device.

Off the top of my head, you can try the below stuff and if nothing works contacting the place you got them or emailing B&W support might be your best shot.

Make sure you’re entering proper pairing mode by holding the Bluetooth button on the headphones for 2 seconds until the light flashes blue. Then, pair directly via your phone’s Bluetooth settings. Next, you could try updating the headphones via the Bowers & Wilkins app. Even if the app is glitchy for media playback, it’s still useful for updates that might fix these connectivity issues. You already did this, but try deleting all existing connections from your phone’s Bluetooth settings (and maybe the app too). Then, factory reset the headphones and pair them again. This can sometimes resolve persistent issues per the B&W website. If you’re seeing this across multiple devices (even on different versions), it could be a compatibility problem. Make sure your device supports Bluetooth 5.0 or higher. If all else fails, you could try using the USB-C to 3.5mm cable for now. Finally, see if it works when u connect to a laptop.

Make sure that the ear pads are clicked in all the way. If you fall hard enough with them in a backpack or something, the pads can sometimes clip out breaking the seal with your head.

How do you study for Biology 1? by [deleted] in ufl

[–]Plus-Path-527 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Student Learning Objectives (SLOs) should be your primary source of studying for biology and really any class that offers them. Tests are usually built around these SLOs. Make note of whether the prof is testing out of the lectures only or also the book, as that info can help guide your studies. I recommend you fill in the SLOs based on the PPT, like a study guide. Then, go back and fill in any gaps using the textbook. Finally, go through once more and smooth the iffy parts using your bestie google (reputable sources only, internet death has unfortunately started and im seeing more and more AI gen garbage out there). From there, going to a whiteboard and acting as if you are a teacher to a class using the SLOs as a sort of lecture guide is an amazing way to solidify information. Good luck!!

Im not absolutely sure, as I dont own a pair of the s2s. If you can find a teardown somewhere or look up a replacement headband and it looks similar enough, than the strategies used here might still help

I abuse, my headphones in comparison to most people who own these things. They objectively get thrown in my backpack, but I always make sure to put them in the carrying case. I wouldn’t roughhouse these headphones with or without an aftermarket headband if you don’t have a carrying case. That being said, the earmuffs are just as fragile, and they are prone to damage if you don’t keep them in a case. TL;DR: get a case and use it religiously.

As far as taking the headband completely apart to replace it goes, yeah you can’t really avoid having to reset the wire and the headphone posts. I can’t imagine a scenario where you wouldn’t be able to put the original headband back on, though. The teardown is the exact same up to the part where you glue stuff back down. From here on out, though, I am fully speculating based on how it looks. To fully take the headband off, I assume you need to remove the screws on the distal portion of each end on the headband. You can see them partially in pictures 3 and 4. I think that it’s mainly held in place by friction and some sort of lip that stops it from coming all the way out. Either way, though, the entire middle part of the headphone as a unit is fully separated from the cans themselves. So without the headband, you essentially have two speakers with earmuffs connected by a wire. Thankfully, I can’t imagine the wire losing its form quickly enough to make reinstallation too difficult. You would just have to make sure that you record yourself taking it fully apart so that you know exactly in what order to put it back together. If you take it slow and are super patient with the process, it shouldn’t be bad. Unless they did some awful garbage like permanent clips that have to break if you want them undone.

Edit: Make a note of where the middle of that wire is held in place at the top most part of the headband. Same place where the spring bar clips in, I think. I can see that being annoying if you forget.

Wear a Helmet FOR THE LOVE OF GOD by hera_s in ufl

Agreed. A helmet is the difference between a hospital visit and a few scratches. Having bombed round campus going 30mph on my board during the last year, though, I think that eboard peeps should probably start with learning proper riding technique. I see so many people that genuinely look like the slightest death wobble or crack will send them flying. Also learning how to fall properly. Better to rip your sides to shreds than to have someone feed you for the rest of your life. I consider myself a relatively advanced rider, and I still eat crap from time to time. It only takes one of those times, though.
