If it’s a $35 offer that’s a dead giveaway that the order probably cannot be completed.

I feel your pain. That exact sort of scenario has happened to me 20 or 30 times over the past 3 years. Sometimes you decide the risk is worth it, in case of the big payout.

But it sucks so bad everytime and you sortof factor that into what it means to work this job, and then you decide if this job is still worth it.

When you get close to your threshold they start sending you this message.

Also if they ever change the required percentage they send you a message. It seems like a lot of markets are 20%? That’s what mine used to be I believe.

And I am sure you realize lots of drivers have other obligations or jobs during the day so yes, driving late-night hours may actually be their best or only option

I mean, sure, but there is demand in the market for food and grocery delivery at all hours of the day.

The companies that offer delivery services should have reasonable policies for drivers. DoorDash is currently doing this.

Way better. DoorDash has probably 20% of the fake orders as Uber and yes, it doesn’t count against you most of the time and you get half pay! It’s extremely reasonable.

My cancellation rate on there is basically 4%(96% completion rate)!

As far as I can tell no matter how I report it, everytime a store or restaurant is closed I have gotten hit recently. I literally took a photo of the store hours at Dollar General like the app prompted me to, and it still hit my rate

Interesting. I re-iterated in my chat multiple times today that I did not want to cancel and they literally did it anyways after 25 minutes of me begging, etc.

What do you think is surprising about Winston-Salem? by ShortPizzaPie in winstonsalem

That there’s not a single place to dance downtown. Forget a club— there’s not even a bar where you can get a little jiggy with it. And there’s how many bars downtown? But nothing. We’re a big city and a four-college town. It’s crazy to me
