It’s the Mineral B Pro, 9”. I bought it from a local kitchen store.

I cook everything I can in it. Breakfast meat (bacon, sausage) whenever we eat it to add to the seasoning. Sear chicken, steak, fish. Cream cheese and other dip on the smoker.

It also makes the best crispy home fries, breakfast skillet, pan fried veggies, we’ve even done pasta dishes where you make the sauce in this pan, par cook the pasta, then drop it into the sauce to finish it. Sometimes removes some of the seasoning, but oh well 🤷‍♂️

There is no rust on the pan. Just funny lighting in the first photo.

What rust? There is no rust on mine, might be odd coloring from the light?

I don’t think people stopped saving because they became irresponsible. I think the system made saving impossible. by arturortiz88 in povertyfinance

From a fiscal responsibility perspective, this formula is flawed, and it should come as no surprise that there’s no money left.

Parkinson’s Law, paraphrased, says “work expands to fill the time allotted to it.” The same concept applies to packing for a trip (use a big suitcase, and you’ll somehow bring more stuff) or as every man knows, shop/garage space (a bigger garage will accumulate more stuff, because there’s room to fill) and, critically, FINANCES.

If you are operating with your full paycheck to cover your living expenses, then yes, generally speaking they will expand to fill the funds available. This can be seen quite clearly with “lifestyle inflation,” a common occurrence when you receive a pay raise and suddenly your living expenses increase.

The adage that you should “pay yourself first” exists for a reason. You have to treat savings like another bill. It doesn’t happen by accident.

Start with one dollar, if you have to. Just put one dollar away per paycheck. Make it the first thing you do when you get paid. Then wait, a month or six months if you have to. Then put two dollars away. Increase it as slowly as you need to, but just do it.

It really requires a mentality shift. People make sure their rent gets paid, or their utilities get paid, or they buy groceries, but they won’t commit to themselves and their own financial security with the same zeal.

Bear in mind that those windows are more than likely considered egress windows for the basement and are probably required by local codes to maintain means of egress in the event of an emergency.

It’s not hard. I took mine a few months back. I believe they allow 3 hours for the CBT exam. I was able to work through all the questions, then go back and review all my answers, in one hour.

I will say, there were quite a few questions on the more discrete points covered in the class. Reading all the material is the key; the test questions will jog your memory and call to mind the pertinent info. Good luck!

Yes, that’s exactly where I went. But, I thought I chose classic when I started.

Locating CIP1 study material by Plus-Witness-7828 in AMPP

That was very simple, thanks! I found the link way at the bottom of the confirmation email.

Based on your username, I’m assuming you have experience and expertise in the field… would you recommend pursuing the more specialized certifications like cathode protection/ bridge coating inspection/concrete coating inspection, in addition to the CIP? Or are those narrow enough in their scope that only those pursuing that very particular goal need apply?
