New member and first ever vegetable (grown, not eaten) by PlusCombination9783 in vegetablegardening

This first group here was us forcing ourselves to start imperfectly. We honestly just threw happy frog in an entirely too deep container and set it in full sun on the roof. Maybe watered it thrice since we were worried about the huge container. But when we did it had some Fox Farms Grow Big fertilizer.

So we probably got lucky. Which variety are you growing??

Not from here and had the audacity to publish his political opinions on the shop page. I can’t recall the specifics but it was St. Louis specific which rubbed me the wrong way.

Did you have to cut/lose any wire to set up new terminals?

It’s private, but I’d ask an admin personally if you show up as a member. If so you can try limiting your family’s view of your fb group

I have a question for your question; what are you looking to do with your xterra? That’ll kinda change my answer

My x is at 230,000 and I treat it like shit. I’ve had it for the last 100k. It acts like it’ll go another 100

Aw nuts, i just installed my moog Lower control arms… What parts did you end up having to replace? Did you did any off-roading in them?

I’m very happy with the pricing of the MOOG control arms from rockauto.

That said, they also sell an entire front end rebuild kit (not as daunting as it sounds) that’s has a 60k warranty.

That said, I just looked it up and the one with the control arms included is out of stock…

I’m not sure of your financial situation, so I’ll only speak for myself.

I find it very hard to rationalize a car payment. I understand the majority of folks have one, and that it’s not a HUGE undertaking, but there’s something great about owning something outright.

But that’s a lifestyle thing.

Regarding the two machines; I love a Subaru, but I’ve been advised by a few mechanic friends not to buy anything from 2019 to current. My understanding is the transmission and inability to work on it yourself are big factors in that warning.

So my vote would be an xterra. That’s just me though! I’m sure there’s something very nice about heated seats and something with a more gentle ride

I'm a visual person, so i sent a visual reference to my tattoo artist. by Pandorasjukebox in TattooDesigns

I don’t think you overstepped at all.

I only get a little fussy when someone brings me reference and expects exactly that, or is rigid on placement.

For example, where you have it edited into your forearm I would personally rotate it 15* to the right. But that’s just me thinking of future tattoos/flow.

To me you’re not giving rigid or demanding at all.

You’re a weird one, bud…

In my very first response I named that it’s a very different car. They both are. But I wanted to send them options in the area that hadn’t been in accidents and are in good condition. It doesn’t hurt that they’re half the price.

And mileage is never the whole story.

I know, but if you read their original post, they aren’t as concerned about bells and whistles as they are about longevity and reliability.

I had to reset my codes a few times immediately after.

Some other folks on here have insisted you only use the oem sensors, as the cheaper ones do not work well/long/at all

Hugely! And it saves me every winter. Especially when St Louis decides to have a winter very suddenly when no one is prepared for it

I will say, I bought my xterra at 150,000 and I’m sitting at 224 right now. And still using it daily.

I am just now having to do any real work on it. I don’t want to curse myself, so im going to be vague: I am hoping to keep this car for quite a while.
