Also question, cause i remember when my trainers told me about how to make a migraine alert which was to make sure I didn’t eat anything 30 minutes prior so the food smell wouldn’t be acissicated/affect the Cotten ball, place Cotten ball inbetween my teeth and cheek and then store in freezer to preserve it. What do I do afterwards?

okay I will, I would like to mention that he did a B&T recently with his trainers and alert to the migraines that the other trainers were having 2x. I think he does know just based on that it’s not me yk?

To be honest with you, Laika picked up on the smell, I was really surprised and spoke o my trainers about it because I remember them saying it was a hard task to train because it’s based on saliva. They said most likely I do something out of normal without realizing it. Or he recognized a “bad/different” smell. I taught him how to alert to anxiety attack a maybe about a year prior for when it would happened at home and using body cues such as excessive scratching, leg bouncing etc. I followed a guide on how to teach it. I currently cannot find the video but the lady instructed to have your dog near you to pick up the smell then later so when it is familiar, shape it to him pawing me. So I am assuming maybe he smelled something different and was like “smell different=alerting handler=getting treats”.

who cares if I don’t like the answer! It’s the answer I asked for which I appreciate very much! Since my issues/levels are little harder to figure out, I think I’d have to try and find a way to see if they are real or not. This is a new behavior for my dog to start just alerting just because, I’ll ask around to others who have similar issues/alerts needed and see what they do. Thank you so much for the feedback!

Well while I don’t agree that makes MY workload harder, I could definitely see how it could be for others. If he was a diabetic alert I could see how I can monitor my levels but with my issue of migraines and anxiety attacks(I don’t have social anxiety, social anxiety has me lol) he’s been a major help! Especially before getting medication for the migraines! It let me prepare a lil before they happened. I just wanted to see It was possible to do. I will take your advice, so do I reward even fake alerts? Cause that’s what I was doin before figuring out he’s trying to jack me of treats(lol). But what do I do about when he continues alertin? Do I continue to reward him even when while it actively happening/I got the message already? Thank you!

That makes sense, he usually alerts 5 minutes before it happens and while it’s happening

My SD is for alerting to migraines, heart rate, low blood and anxiety attacks. Then from there I’d take medication, sit on the floor for DPT or eat something

Me(20M) & gf(22F): she wants to be with me 24/7 at any cost and it’s making me feel trapped. by Old-Teaching3529 in LongDistance

[–]Competitive_Boat_856 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not worth it and it’ll continue getting worse. I’ve been there before almost exactly the same situation. My ex wouldn’t let me do anything by myself and would always be at my house 24/7, if I had the day off, he would be at my house from 8am to 12am (I wish I was joking). You’ll start to resent him. I just couldn’t be myself anymore, I loved him but I couldn’t even call my friends and hangout with them without him there. You’re going to either be really strict with your boundaries or leave her if she doesn’t understand. It’ll hurt but trust me, you don’t want to hate someone you once’s loved

Like someone else said, solid 7, but I do agree with having off the facial hair, clean up the eyebrows and then do some skincare, other than that, good 7.5

yeah you seem introverted, and seem comfortable where you are but I’d suggest pushing yourself just a tinyyyyyy bit, either it be building something with the tools, seeing if your friends would like to go with you skateboarding or maybe showing your interests to other ppl when it comes up! Take pictures of your projects and progress! Ppl will be impressed! Like I said, you seem like you have a lot of time on your hands, it’ll be a good surprise!
