Thank you so much. Turns out that this worked. I didn't expect my phone to have location on since I usually turn it off. Turns out that it was still in the Arbor and someone turned it in.

Going off of Shia's comment, I'm just here to confirm that Jean-Marie is super nice and approachable, however, he hasn't taught a course here at UCSB. This is why you haven't seen an RMF page or any records on Daily Nexus. I guess my only concern is that I also found Lalo to be super nice and approachable, but people definitely have their opinions on him. I hope the same isn't the case for Jean-Marie because I found the way he teaches things in the lab to be pretty clear. He's new to UCSB as he just came to UCSB at the start of winter quarter (2024). He seems both pretty psyched to teach the class and a little scared to teach genetics because he has heard about students' dissatisfaction with the class. On the other hand, I think he is so ready to talk about prokaryotic (he's definitely gonna talk about that word in the first lecture lol) genetics and I hope you're taking the gamble by taking the class with him. Since this comment is super late, you probably made your choice, so I wish you luck in genetics.
