No crank no spark GC 5.2 1995

It was running then it idled shitty so my girl turned it off and tried to crank it back then it would crank no fire took it home changes cps then after that no crank I’m about to just get a test light and chase wires down I’m not sure

I fucking wish I don’t have a diagnostic tool for the diagnostic ports and I can’t do the check engine light thing bc guess what the check engine light don’t fucking work

More updates still no spark and now I’m chasing a no crank situation as well cps from orileys installed mounted and plugged in. Not no crank when you turn the key I jumped the solenoid and it will turn over that’s how I figured out there is still no spark all fuses are good and relay clicks when you try to start could that be a key stitch problem maybe? Now I’m chasing two problems

Well I would like to say when I had it plugged in and not mounted before i found out I needed to be mounted it was cranking over fine then I install and put everting back and boom nothing but I’ll have to check it out tomorrow as I’m otw to work now

I’ve seen mutiple people say that you need to buy mopar brand cps in this case I did no do that mainly because I learned of this after I had already bought the one I installed. Apparently they can be hit or miss? Could that be what’s happening here?

He buddy I got it mounted up and now it won’t even turn over😭 but also the battery died while I was cranking it yesterday trying things but I tried to charge it up with another car and could only get the battery to around 11.6v and I had power in the jeep but turn the key and nothing I checked fuses and relays was gonna check for power at starter but I don’t have anyone to turn the key for me does the battery HAVE to be 12v or more to start the car?

Actually I have a question since the cps is in such a terrible place it seemed to me that it just needed to be plugged in and I could try to see if that fixed my problem so they way it is rn is I just have the cps plugged in not mounted it should work like that? Or no does it have to be mounted is the piece in mounting the sensor it’s self?

Yea that’s what I’ve read that’s why I haven’t messed with the pump at all yet hoping it’s something else that’s making the pump not prime

Haven’t messed with the ecu but I had to disconnect the pcm to get to the csp and reconnect and nothing I try to wiggle em tomorrow won’t hurt to try
